ScouseFox Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 So, Pearson is evidently a big believer of players haunting former clubs. 3-0 City, Danns hat trick and a majestic defensive display from Tunch.
cc_star Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 No defenders on the bench? there's 5 on the pitch, if 1 has to go off we'll revert to a flat back 4 Why waste a position on the bench?
lovelcfc Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 5-3-2/3-5-2 with Moore and Kennedy the wing backs then. Interesting. Subs: Gallagher, Howard, Dyer, Beckford, Weale No Wellens on the bench either - thank god! I think Danns will be fired up to prove a point against his ex-club, plus him and Tunch have a reasonable idea of what to expect from them. The two CB's alongside Bamba will help a lot with his erratic play, as for Kennedy and Moore - I think that definitely spells the end for Paintsil but Konchesky and Peltier haven't been great of late (although who has) - good decision. i think they have been great konchecky cant play 2games in two days
Corky Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 No defenders on the bench? We've got five on the pitch! I suppose Dyer could possibly fill in at left back if needed.
tyneside fox Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 This has got disaster written all over it. Or Absolute Genious....!
Lambert09 Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 If people moan about this line up after weeks of calling him to change it then our fans really are a joke! Is mills playing right back then? Didn't even know kennedy was still with us Moore will be right back mate....I imagine Bamba will be allowed to get forward.....again what people have been calling for....fair play pearson
MikeyT Posted 2 January 2012 Author Posted 2 January 2012 It will have something to do with it, but to give Kennedy and Moore a go is refreshing. Definitely. Hope they have a blinding game. Looking forward to this one even more now.
Saxondale Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 So, Pearson is evidently a big believer of players haunting former clubs. Like Mills vs Reading
ACF Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Doing a bit of twitter stalking, Gally having a conversation with the great Nils-Eric Johansson!
BahsonGav Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Considering we only played 48 hours ago changes are not to be surprised at! Wellens doesn't run when he has a week between games, so him missing is no surprise. 3 x Centre halfs in the team, looks on paper like a 5-3-2 with wing backs in Kennedy and Moore - a BOLD move by Pearson this one. Got to think Peltier and Konch are purely being rested (as they have been our most consistants this season) Welcome back Tunchev!! Its taken him a couple of months, but everybody is now getting a chance (Maybe a LAST chance for some!!) Liam Moore played really well for Bradford earlier in the season (I watched him live a couple of times and he shone at that level!) I tell you what though, If we win 3-0 today with this line up - Selection will be bloody interesting for Forest on Saturday! Up the Foxes!!!
foxfanazer Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 there's 5 on the pitch, if 1 has to go off we'll revert to a flat back 4 Why waste a position on the bench? this, I'd take a gamble on having no keeper on the bench too. It's stupid u only get 5 subs
lcfcadam Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 seriously? MoN! I'm afraid I was still living in Scotland and had never even heard of a place called Leicester when MoN was in charge! Though I've come rather a long way quite quickly I feel...
MikeyT Posted 2 January 2012 Author Posted 2 January 2012 We've got five on the pitch! I suppose Dyer could possibly fill in at left back if needed. And Abe can fill in as well.
Webbo Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Schmeichel Moore - Mills - Tunchev - Bamba - KennedyDanns - King - AbeNugent - Schlupp?or possibly:SchmeichelMoore - Mills - Tunchev - KennedyBambaDanns - King - AbeNugent - Schlupp Could be a combination of both with option 1 when we're defending and option 2 in attack.
ACF Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 We've got five on the pitch! I suppose Dyer could possibly fill in at left back if needed. there's 5 on the pitch, if 1 has to go off we'll revert to a flat back 4 Why waste a position on the bench? With Abe on as well, makes sense...
lovelcfc Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 these are the players that WANT to play for leicester obv at least they will give there all because they want to keep there place
Guest shearfox Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Well I'm for the change, we have been poor and the players coming in should be up for it and really want to impress.
foxfanazer Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Moore will be right back mate....I imagine Bamba will be allowed to get forward.....again what people have been calling for....fair play pearson Oh cool thanks, didn't realise it was 5 at the back. Hope the midfield performs so wellens doesn't get back in Moore will be right back mate....I imagine Bamba will be allowed to get forward.....again what people have been calling for....fair play pearson Oh cool thanks, didn't realise it was 5 at the back. Hope the midfield performs so wellens doesn't get back in
Lambert09 Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 I can see at least 6 players out there who need to take there chance today, although I cant help thinking this is a forced change rather then Pearson giving people a chance. Tunchev <3

danlcfc4ever Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Are we on Sky again today? Maybe a silly question but i just wondered as we are kicking off at 1?
The Doctor Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Are we on Sky again today? Maybe a silly question but i just wondered as we are kicking off at 1? Police advice I believe.

Ric Flair Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Peltier was quite close to Gary Ablett, he might not be in the right frame of mind to play.
