Webbo Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Well we manage with 5 all season in the league, if we have cover for every position on the bench it's pointless in putting someone on who won't get game time. If there was another youngster he thought was getting close to being ready (like taft) then i'm sure they would take the last spot. I'm not arguing, I just meant that if we lose all the haters on here will say he should have named 7 subs, he could have named 7 just to cover his arse. How can only naming just 6 be bottling it?

One things for sure all of a sudden the squad is looking incredibly limited Forward line picks itself with Vassell, Schlupp long & mid-term injuries & Waghorn injured too (I think) Midfield more or less picks itself with Fernandes not interested in playing for the club & gone, King injured & Johnson probably unfit, what's left is shuffling the deckchairs on the titanic There's a bit of competition at the back with Moore, Kennedy & Taft appearing on the scene and Mills, Tunch & SSL along with Bamba when he's back but yes, apart from shuffling different levels of sub-standardness in the middle there are very few options
