SaM 12 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 just want a game that we can get through in then we are one from wembley!!!
Simmo86 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 None of the big boys please! Home tie against a Football League team or Stoke away!
lcfcbaby Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 To be honest Crawley or Stevenage will give us the best chance of progressing to the final 8, we shouldn't under-estimate them but drawing a championship team would be disastrous and if we are drawn Crawley or Stevenage then progressing through to the final 8 will give us a chance to play a premier league team plus we'll have quater final of FA cup in our history. This is providing we win the 5th round match... obviously.
C.J Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Liverpool away. Mainly because it'd be nice to get a chant of 'one song' going when they sing 'you'll never walk alone'.
Nick Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 To be honest I'd like to survive against the small fry left and get into the quarter finals and be one big match away from Wembley. It's also not telephone numbers but we got 90K from the FA for qualifying through round 4 which should pay for an agents bung late on transfer day - we'de get enough to hire Jermaine a speech therapist if we got through round 5. However if the balls are boring I'll be slightly underwhelmed - I think we are owed a good draw, if it's Liverpool or Chelsea away, I'll be all over it and be booking the train and a hotel.
Webbo Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Why do people want Stoke? They're shit club that nobody cares about and they'd brush us aside with ease.
davieG Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Why do people want Stoke? They're shit club that nobody cares about and they'd brush us aside with ease. They'd be bottom of my preferences. vote here - http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/79479-fa-cup-poll-who-do-you-want/page__fromsearch__1
city1993 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 ANYONE BUT LIVERPOOL! Also, not Sunderland because I've got a cheeky bet on them to win the thing! Everton or Bolton at home would be a good chance to see how we fair against lower Prem opposition. Away from home, I'd be swaying towards a Championship side if we want to progress. Crawley WILL beat us, let's face it! As our chances are probably no better off with Chelsea, Spurs etc...
MikeyT Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Stevenage or Crawley please at the KP. I want to progress as far as we can and no disrespect to either of those teams, I'd think we stand more of a chance against them than against Liverpool, Sunderland etc.
Libertine Dream Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Why do people want Stoke? They're shit club that nobody cares about and they'd brush us aside with ease. I think its just because they sent us down so otd feel good to get one over on them. Agree we'd lose though
wellyfox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Just looked on the FA Site, it appears that the games for the fifth round take place over the weekend or 18-19 February. Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't we got Brum at home on the 18th. If so that will be moved. Everyone had a league fixture yesterd day. we now have a game in hand on Reading. It's only the third round that has no league fixture's for the prem and the championship.
EnderbyFox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Can somebody tell me the time of the draw? 3:40 PM
Guest ttfn Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 ****. Just realised it's my mate's wedding on the 18th. So Crawley or Stevenage at home please. By the way, just watch as one of those 2 sides gets their "dream draw" at Arsenal or Liverpool. No matter how statistically unlikely it is that they will draw one of those sides, I guarantee it will happen.
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Really want to progress to the quarter finals, just two games away from wembley , easy home draw please
Dan Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Why are people so desperate to avoid Crawley/Stevenage? Not being funny, they're a league or two below us for a reason, yes they've produced some good results, but hadn't Swindon? It'd hardly be a disgrace either, well it would but it's not like we'd be the only ones who have lost to them at this level.
whoareyaaa Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Stevange or Crawley at home will be ace. we can meet the likes of Liverpool or Chelsea in the Semis!
ScouseFox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 I don't think too many people are massively scared of being "giant killed" or "disgraced", rather they'd prefer to lose in front of 6,500 away fans at Anfield or the Emirates than about 10,000 home fans at home to Stevenage. That sort of thing.
UrbanFox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Liverpool away for me please! although it will be a shitter like a champo team away, properly Brum or Saints!
Tielemans63 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Liverpool away for me please! although it will be a shitter like a champo team away, properly Brum or Saints! I'd love it if it was Liverpool away - my in-laws are all reds
