I'll be interested to see if they play like that all the time or whether they just got bigstadiumitus today. Looked a very neat outfit.

Mills and St Ledger are pretty much the perfect partnership. Looking really good at the back. I just hope we can add more width before the end of the window as Dyer and Gally are providing balance but nothing much else.

Swindon fan here, still stuck in the car park so thought I'd join quickly and say cheers for a good game. Leicester have the makings of a good team, and I'm sure if the confidence builds you could go on to do well.

We looked overawed by Leicester at the start and to be honest I expect a lot of swindon fans were surprised. We usually start games a lot better.

To answer the question, we are used to playing good football under pdc but could do with a bit more up front.

Do us a favour and knock crawley out??! ;-) all the best for the rest of the season...

Swindon fans can hold their heads high. They played very well and deserved a goal.

Into the 5th round for us though, the 1st time in quite a few years to.

Simon Ferry just tweeted this about the challenge from Konchesky

Just asked the leicester groundsman to send me my knee if it gets caught in the lawnmower

Thought the Swindon fans were great - credit to their team. Paulo was amusing - guy has fashion and passion sorted. As for us, we had spells of good football, solid defence but allowed too much pressure on ourselves. Beckford was excellent in parts, goals obviously, but lacked effort at time!

Still, next round is a nice place to be!

Good game, heard a few people on the radio (Hardly a great cross section of opinions I know) slating the performance but don't think we played that bad, not amazing but ok, good.

3 wins in a row, shame they aren't league wins but still any win is good, let's just hope we can continue the good form into the league.

Mills and Beckford, well done, I hated these 2, 3 games ago, they were awful, i'd have happily let them go but they have proved me wrong over the last 3 games.

2 things that have changed though - Beckford is actually trying and playing, I can't honestly say he did that 3 games ago, and the reason for Mills playing well? I think it's all down to Bamba not playing, His mistakes and inconsistancy's puts Mills under pressure and that makes him make mistakes and inconsistant.

People jumped on me when I said this before but I fully understand St Ledger's attitude and questioning of why he wasn't in the team and playing while Mills and Bamba had their car crash partnership running, I'd be asking the same questions in his position, People jumped on me saying 'yeah but St Ledger had no right' e.t.c, I tell you what if Bamba comes back and St Ledger get's dropped for him now I for one will not be happy.

Good performance, Into the next round, Let's make sure we can take this form into the league though.

First half wasn't the best, got an early goal (neat finish from Beckford) but Swindon took some control of the game and Kasper made two crucial saves while Konchesky produced an outstanding block to stop a certain goal. Half time came at the right time, we needed a break to re-group, thankfully with 11 after Konchesky's rash challenge.

Started the second half better and scored at a good time, Beckford lashing home. After that we were fairly comfortable, Swindon reduced to long, wayward shots and their keeper making a couple of saves.

Important to get through and without too many real scares.

Into the next round, job done.

Thought the Swindon fans were fantastic, outsung us all match, however they quietened down after we went 2-0 up. Their 'Paulos red army' chant, their version of our 'left side, ride side' chant was quality.

You could here them easily in the kop, a great turn out from Swindon too and they played very good football at times on the pitch as well, just lacked a finishing product.

Next round we go, home or away I'm not bothered.

Swindon has quality support today nice and loud unlike ours.... But football wise i felt we was the better team and deserved to win. 90% of there shots went miles over or wide. Got stuck in well though. Should be in League 1 next season.

With some of the top sides being knocked out we're just quietly making an impression on the cup and today just kept that momentum going. It gives the season more purpose and should be beneficial all round for a while.

We were nothing special today but we did do the job and three successive wins for an 8-0 aggregate can't do anything but help out confidence.

Beckford not only scored the two goals that won the match but, for the first time that I've witnessed, he saw his team-mates and used them, making him easily our MoM.

I still didn't think we created enough - and both Wellens and Danns delivered a real mixture of sublime and abyssmal - but, Beckford and our two centre-backs excepted it wasn't a game where individuals shone, more one where the some total of our parts proved decisive.

Yes, we can do better but we didn't have to and those clean sheets were encouraging. Yes, the team still needs boosting but at long last we are beginning to look like a team. Swindon? Respectable and well motivated. They had to be taken seriously and had far too many shots - albeit from outside the box - for my liking.

Gimme a break mate - yes their support was pretty good today, but as we all know away support is almost always better than that of the home club. Our away ends are usually very good, along with most other clubs. Our home support is usually quite crap, along with most other clubs

Agreed with this, but that Swindon support was deafening in the first half. Loudest I've heard here in years.

The result is everything really. There were a few positives from today but overall we were largely outplayed for 40 minutes of the first half and though our second half performance was better and we were quite dominant after the second goal we will need to play a lot lot better on Wednesday to beat Middlesborough.

Two very good finishes from Beckford and generally a good defensive display from the back five are definite positive points. However, the midfield were largely out played in the first half by a side two divisions below as we didn't close them down quickly enough. There was no movement in the first half from the midfield and it wasn't until after the second goal and they started to tire that Wellens in particular started to get involved in a positive way. Danns provided a lot of energy but Dyer faded badly in the second half and though I suspect Gallagher wasn't really fully fit his overall perfomance was shoddy at best.

Still it is a good result against a spirited side who played some neat football and were dangerous from set pieces but lacked the quality we had in the final third of the pitch. Their support was excellent as well.

Come on Nigel sort this midfield out. We need better quality in those positions.

Deafening is a bit OTT, that red & white army chant was loud but apart from that I thought they were pretty average!

Enjoyed the game better result did not feel what happy with a minute to go to half time Swindon were playing well above their league position not sure if they raised their game.

Got a good view close of the tackle on Simon Ferry & Konchesky's challenge did seem a bad foul but mistimed and no intent for me.

They will get promotion if they play away from home in this sort of fashion Swindon will play a lot worse and win.

The new lad Tom Hooper did well up front and one to watch out for liked him dropping his shoulder's one way then the other and running past defenders great prospect.

great play by SSL and man of the match for me

Two great poacher goals by Becks

easy game at home in next round please god

Yeah i thought Konchesky would go when he made that tackle. If he did go we could of had little complaint

Paulo Di Canio was moaning about it anyway

It took a second look to see how bad it was, the ref doesn't get that luxury, so yellow very fair, unless we want to turn it into a complete girls game of course

Well the FA cant do anything because the ref seen it and punished him for it. Neil Danns got away with one too in the first half but their player jumped, if he hadnt Danns may have gone aswell

Not a great display by any means at all, but a win nontheless and you've got to love 2-0 home wins, such a standard comfortable win, exactly what I like about Pearson.

I dont know about a perfect partnership St Ledger makes Mills look better than he is, the problem is Mills thinks his playing a sweeper roll unfortunately his marking is none existent Peltier kept getting drawn inside to mark a player are so called captain should have been marking leaving there wide player in acres of space PLEASE SOMEONE CONVINCE ME MILLS IS A GOOD FOOTBALLER LET ALONE A CENTRE HALF

Considering all the players we had missing i think a 2-0 win was very good. Just look at the bench with only Howard who has played a decent amount of games for us this season but even he hasnt played many
