SSL had a very good game, Mills bagged another assist, Konchesky and Gally weren't great and it's good to see Beckford bagging goals. Shame his league record still looks bloody awful despite his recent flurry of goals. Crawley at home next round please.

The Bamba lovers will say it was nothing special. They would rather there boy friend play than have a stronger defensive partnership. Have we had 3 clean sheet's on the trot with him playing

Leicester 1-0 Brighton Cardiff 0-0 Leicester Middlesbrough 0-0 Leicester Leicester 4-0 Derby There was the League Cup 2-2 draw with Cardiff in between those but Bamba wasn't playing.

I'll be interested to see if they play like that all the time or whether they just got bigstadiumitus today. Looked a very neat outfit. Mills and St Ledger are pretty much the perfect partnership. Looking really good at the back. I just hope we can add more width before the end of the window as Dyer and Gally are providing balance but nothing much else.

But our defence and Beckford today were absolutely outstanding. Sean St Ledger put in one of the best defensive displays I have ever seen at the Walkers/King Power. Beckford was lively and took his goals well. Liverpool next round hopefully, would love to beat them scouse t***s
Benji Posted 28 January 2012 Posted 28 January 2012 Solid performance, good win for the momentum. Have to credit Swindon, worked very hard right to the end and created a few decent chances. Just lacked the end product. Wouldn't look out of place in the championship playing like that.

Saying that, we are becoming hard to beat now and you have to say the boys were very professional today. I actually had Swindon in my champions accumulator, just a shame I chose Leicester too!
