Happy Fox Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 NP will make sacrifices and if that is Mills and Beckford then so be it, it is a team game and where were these players a couple of weeks ago, they were hardly pulling their weight. NP's motto is young talented hard working players he built is previous Hull side on those principles and they are flying in the league trust in NP to make the right decisions.
EnderbyFox Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 NP doesn't rate Beckford and neither Mills we aren't going to splash the cash like we did with Sven, we are going down the young talent route which is better for us in the long term. And yet they both start every game?
Happy Fox Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Where exactly do you source your information from with fleeting commments such as this? My opinion no sources attached, should of made myself clearer. And yet they both start every game? NP putting them in the shop window?

They're hardly flying in the league when they're only 7 points ahead of us. If you think back to some of the games where we've been had by the refereeing decisions, there's little in it at all. Nothing.

If you think back to some of the games where we've been had by the refereeing decisions, there's little in it at all. Nothing. Doing a far sight better than us, NP built that team contrary to Dull fans views.
flowwolf Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 If he's been on this site at all since he's been here he's probably got his bags packed already. If he does go it might make people think twice about booing people before they have had a chance to settle in a team Yes that's right blame the fans again, boring or what.
dannythefox Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 NP said he would get the best out of Beckford and it's looking good and Mills has got better since NP arrived.
Libertine Dream Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Mark Charlton says he isn't going. Also as he's played for us and Everton, doesn't that mean he can't go on a perm?
dannythefox Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Mark Charlton says he isn't going. Also as he's played for us and Everton, doesn't that mean he can't go on a perm? could only be a loan.
Callabinho Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Ok so.....sell Beckford and sign who exactly?
Libertine Dream Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 could only be a loan. So there really is no benefits for us!
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 You get the impression Nigel is building for next season, but I'd be disappointed if Beckford isn't a part of that. Say what you want about the guy, but when he's on fire - there's no one more prolific at this level.
lcfcsnow Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Ok so.....sell Beckford and sign who exactly? Haven't we been searching for a striker all month? And what have we got, a 1 month loanee. Pearson needs to pull his finger out and get someone in, this will be our best chance to cash in on Beckford whos upped his game for a reason of late.
dannythefox Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 So there really is no benefits for us! like I've said he wont be going I would eat my hat!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Ha £5m for a player most would have been happy getting £5 back on 3 games ago. I think the vast majority of fans, even if they didn't rate him, would have been/would be gutted to sell Beckford for anything less than what we signed him for. West Ham seem desperate for a striker, time running out, they've already put huge money on the table for Jelavic. £5m seems viable to me if they really want him. EDIT: But if it can only be a loan, then maybe not!
Yojoe36 Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 We go from having a cluster fvck of players. To having no players. THE HELL!!???
Happy Fox Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Ok so.....sell Beckford and sign who exactly? Remember Fourth Official said at the start of the January transfer window that Beckford could be off.
caz05 Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Mark Charlton says he isn't going. Also as he's played for us and Everton, doesn't that mean he can't go on a perm? I said this 2 pages back, didnt think he could play for 3 teams
chili_con_carne Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 there's no way Pearson will let him go. But then has he really done a lot. 2 goals in 19 league games says a story. 3 goals v a shit forest team and 2 against the mighty Swindon town and he's god
Libertine Dream Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 I said this 2 pages back, didnt think he could play for 3 teams Ahh fair enough, couldn't be bothered to look but didnt think he could.
dannythefox Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Maybe were going to have Nugent on the pitch with 9 defenders?
21st Century Fox Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 If I know Nige and I think I know Nige there's every possibility he maybe might rate Beckford and that he could possibly almost contemplate selling him.
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Why would he join West Ham? We're still in the FA Cp!
chili_con_carne Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 But then he's playing with a smile on his face now and is starting to form a good partnership with nuge. Pearson doesn't like players who have an ego. Which is why he let gradel go.
