MC Prussian Posted 23 May 2012 Posted 23 May 2012 That Independiente third kit is absolutely gorgeous. Plain and simple. I was about to go for the 2011 France away shirt, but this one's my new favourite - until the new Leicester shirt comes out, that is.

MC Prussian Posted 23 May 2012 Posted 23 May 2012 Was my Picture not good enough MC? I needed a close-up to enjoy it in its full glory...
AjcW Posted 23 May 2012 Posted 23 May 2012 I needed a close-up to enjoy it in its full glory... To be fair it's impressive how PUMA have made one template stay interesting for so many different teams.
MC Prussian Posted 23 May 2012 Posted 23 May 2012 I'm more keen to find out why PUMA manage to come up with so many classy shirts, whilst Nike have gone downhill in recent years. They need a new head of design.
AjcW Posted 23 May 2012 Posted 23 May 2012 From what I discovered when I had an interview there, the whole system is a lot more personal, despite PUMA's stature they still have a fairly small head office and I was told that the main reason for the delay on our kit was due to the amount of re-designs requested by the owners. They seem to spend a lot of time perfecting things with clubs, even their smaller clients and I think that leads to good results.

I'd actually buy it all if it did come out.
HEGGSY Posted 23 May 2012 Posted 23 May 2012 Got to be a keepers kit, that's the new England GK shirt template.
Guest Bilo Posted 23 May 2012 Posted 23 May 2012 That Independiente kit is the dog's bollocks. Love that Italy template.
AjcW Posted 24 May 2012 Posted 24 May 2012 The fit on this Motherwell shirt looks god awful. Motherwell's kits are made and distributed by a different contractor to Genesis(who are supplying ours and numerous other good looking good fitting kits we have seen released so far... see burnley etc).
MC Prussian Posted 24 May 2012 Posted 24 May 2012 Does anybody actually know how to get the Puma Independiente 3rd kit in the UK/Europe once it is released? I suppose ordering it from Buenos Aires might be a bit... complicated.

Burnleys kit is shocking ' Get In Line ' Faggottory Tbf though, Puma have made some lovely kits so far :fc:
AjcW Posted 24 May 2012 Posted 24 May 2012 Whats wrong with it.... A marketing strapline doesn't ruin a simple, clean kit surely?
Jaspa Posted 24 May 2012 Posted 24 May 2012 Whats wrong with it.... A marketing strapline doesn't ruin a simple, clean kit surely? Looks like its designed for a carrot there Im not a fan anyway, you can have your own opinion
AKCJ Posted 24 May 2012 Posted 24 May 2012 I don't think the kit is that bad. With better colours on it it wouldn't be that harmful on the eyes, just that blue is god awful.

Thanks for the hint, anyway.

I suppose ordering it from Buenos Aires might be a bit... complicated. uksoccershop.com normally does a decent line in South American kits, fella. All around the 60 boy bracket. Bought a Corinthians shirt from there years back, bloody lovely it was. That sponsor is to low down I think it looks too low down because of that light blue stripe.
kingfox Posted 25 May 2012 Posted 25 May 2012 The fit on this Motherwell shirt looks god awful. That is cringeworthy, first of all the top looks well baggy on him, then the style is just horrible. Only SPL though, so what do you expect
