carlhltid Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 I think if we had 4000 we'd sell 4000 we aint been this far in the cup for years mate if this was in the seventies we would have took 10 thousand serious and i know there will be more than 2400 city fans in norwich on the 18th
Ashley Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Has there been trouble? Yes. The season we got relegated and beat them 4-0. Down Market street is it? The road which the Globe and O'Neils is on.
yorkie1999 Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 This could all backfire on norwich, 1st they've set a pecidence that will have to be maintained thoughout the cup against far bigger sides than us that wont lie down so easily, 2ndly we might play out of our skin because we feel hard done by
bluesbrothers Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Low allocation? Probably because Norwich, flying in the Prem at the minute, aren't that fussed about a match against us. Chances are, they won't get anywhere near a sell out, so our 2,500 will probably be well over 10% of the tickets sold. I don't see why we couldn't have extended allocations, but it's unlikely.
NCFCdave Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 The real reason for the low allocation is Norfolk Police, renowned for being ridiculously heavy-handed when it comes to footy matches. Although it's a big derby with potential for trouble, Norwich v 1p5wich games aren't in the same league as Millwall v West Ham or Birmingham v Villa when it comes to trouble, yet they're played on Sunday every year thanks to Norfolk police. As a couple of posters have pointed out, this goes back to the trouble Norwich fans caused when you beat us 4-0 at your place 3 years ago. We went down that year so didn't play each other the following season, but upon our return to the Championship last year, Norfolk police requested both games involving the clubs were midweek, which would guarantee fewer travelling fans. Now we have you in the cup you should quite rightly get 15% and it's Norfolk police who are putting pressure on the club to give you a reduced allocation. Admittedly, the club probably won't put up much of a fight as they know we'll sell out with home fans anyway, and as there are lots of Norwich fans unable to get tickets for Premier League matches, it gives them an opportunity to please more fans. Personally, I think it would add to the occasion if there were 4,000 Leicester fans there. Would enhance what will already be a great atmosphere. If it was the other way around, I'd be absolutely livid. But as for the posts about Norwich fans being arrogant and thinking we're a top 4 club, come on!! Norwich has more than its fair share of stupid fans but even they don't think that. We're similar sized clubs and we're just enjoying a rare period of success.
1964FOX Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 All they have managed to achieve is piss the Leicester fans off and create tension between the fans before the match.More likely to have a H&S issue now. I agree, there decision has nothing to do with health and safety really but it may well have the consequence of causing an issue.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Ruining the FA cup we gave full allo to all teams it's a mark of respect for the opposition and the fans and Norwich have shat all over it why am i not surprised the smug little bum fcuks well we'll fill our Allo out sing them for 90 full minutes (96 minutes knowing refs atm) and win this game COYB
Dan Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 I'm P1, if anyone wants my details for this game then PM me. EDIT; Received PM.

Less work for the Old Bill, who'll probably still stick a big overtime bill in. If they start doing this regularly, we'll end up with next to no away fans at matches....
Bluefoxtim Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 £44 for ticket and travel. Always go to the first few rounds and then end up missing a cracking game due to cost. Fulham, Chelsea, Man City.... ahhh.
Karljohn Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Hmmm now let me see what is safer, 2400 city fans with a few hundred ticketless in the Norwich end, or 4000 city fans in the correct seats. Would just give them 5% - 1600 if its a replay, on safety grounds of course.
southdevonfox Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 might write to the club, its a farse how come our club aint angry about this , cmon leicester city stick up for your fans
Simmo86 Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Norwich home end ticket go on general sale Friday, there will probs only be a few but the option is there if people need it and preferably know somebody if the Norfolk area.
