Basingstoke Fox Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 I posted this in the thread on Ticket News and travel section. But this is from the NCFC OS: Away supporters The Club recognises that it is appropriate for away supporters to be able to attend any match at Carrow Road and will use its best endeavours to prevent a complete restriction being imposed upon visiting supporters. The Club will allocate tickets for matches at Carrow Road in accordance with published ticketing regulations for the applicable competition unless it receives contrary instructions or advice from the Police or Norfolk County Council Safety Advisory Group. Away supporters will pay the same prices as casual home supporters occupying equivalent seats in that stand. It's the Safety Advisory Group we need to consult as well as NCFC / The FA
SaltyDog Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 I think every ne of us should send a e mail complaint to the FA, won't do much but they will have to acknowledge and reply to s all. Yep, get us the email addy and we hould all do this! I believe a lawful protest at the game is in order to make them realise how we feel. Hopefully we could cause them a lot of disruption to make them think twice about being so selfish. I mean they are clearly suggesting we are awful fans and we are not safe. Any suggestions as to what we could do lawfully to give them grief would be welcome. I'm all for this aswell... doing what though i dont know? Can also see the stewards making us all sit down through out this game just to add further insult to injury...
BrummieFOX Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Clearly it has nothing to do with crowd safety it is purely about maintaining the maximum allocation for their own fans. If I recall rightly there are natural segregation areas between the home and away fans on one side at least so will get away with a small area of empty seats on the other side maintaining nearly all the home seats. I think every ne of us should send a e mail complaint to the FA, won't do much but they will have to acknowledge and reply to s all. From what's on the OS I think the club as tried to fight our argument so they are not at fault, it's all down to Norwich. You may ask what good this will do, basically they will have to massively increase their staffing levels to accommodate it and that will cost them cash wise. Yea good shout, something relatively peaceful but shows that we're not happy about this. The whole thing sets a horrible precedent for this happening again and again. It seems every round a team trys it on and the FA just give in. How about no one goes up into the stands until the minute before kick off?? Not feeling too creative after a day of work but a completely empty away end until right before Kick Off would provoke a few comments.

Anything within law and ground regs that just causes them hassle has to be worth a try, I'm sure people on here can come up with some ideas over the next few days. As I say it wont get us any extra tickets butwe need to do something for those who will miss out and cause Norwich as much annoyance as possible.
ncfc1902 Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Norwich fan here watching with interest.! Our chief executive is David McNally and he's a bit of a nasty bastard! This has got his name all over it. Incidently we requested and got a 15% allocation at West Brom in the last round. You can contact him on Twitter @davidmcnally62 or email [email protected]
GingerrrFox Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 It's probably to do with this http://www.edp24.co....jailed_1_644744 Therefore Norwich and their shite safety board have used this from 3 years ago as an excuse to ensure we have less than the full 15%, I for one am getting pretty agitated that these canaries think they are a big club all of a sudden after multiple promotions in such a short period of time. Seen one thread going round their boards where they are talking by how many they will "smash us" by. 5-0 bollocks, Foxes never quit!
1964FOX Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Yep, get us the email addy and we hould all do You have to complain via their website below, let's send them hundreds. http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/WhoWeAre/ContactUs.aspx
Dylan Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 I've got to ask the simple question.... what is the ****ing point in having a rule which states the away team is entitled to 15%, if its not followed? If there's that much of a safety problem, then knock the extra seats needed for whoever off the home allocation? Take them to a replay and give them 10 ****ing seats.
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 might be 2400 knew it wasnt the 4000 we wanted ! , just bought 4 ! £25 each ! How have you bought 4? Not on sale yet?

I am sure you are right that they will be using this even though it was Norwich supporters who were the aggressors and caused the trouble.

It really is amazingly simple isn't it? I think we need the full details about this first before raising any complaints with anyone yet. They're probably already selling tickets in the areas that we would be allocated if we're successful in getting our full 15%. So the quicker we can try to work something out with this, the better. We have to at least try something!
cambridgefox Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Histon local to me played Leeds a few years back and they dipped their hand in their pockets for seating, segregation etc.if they can do this im sure Norwich can. They just dont want to.My mate is a Norwich sth and he said the fans are now up there own arses.Yes they get good crowds home and away but they act like they are one of the big four.my mates on the board of Aviva(ipswich supporter)think i better put pressure on him to sever ties until this is sorted!!!!
carlhltid Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Also only 1 per season ticket holder stinks me thinks there will be a few of us in there end for this one

Ashley Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Also only 1 per season ticket holder stinks me thinks there will be a few of us in there end for this one Its always the same for away games? What's the problem there.
yorkie1999 Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Surely if this is for safety reasons they have to allocate 15% of their ground to us and then only allow us to buy 2400 tickets.
paddy Agyemang Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 I won't even be able to get a ticket for the game even though I live there as it won't make members sale
jamesmilner Posted 7 February 2012 Author Posted 7 February 2012 obvious how i got them dont you think . pick them up tomorrow !
MrSpaM Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Since i've just discovered the Norwich fans are all over this thread, i'd just like to point out that :- 1: Noone on here said the draw was as terrible as you lot are making out, and there was no abuse in the way of calling you lot a tin pot club like your trying to make out to the rest of your fans. Seems a few people on your forum enjoy making stuff up to try and cover the fact your clubs been complete nonces when it's come to the seating allocation. 2 : We are pissed off because your club has managed to find a loophole that stops a lot of our fans who dont have season tickets from coming and supporting our team. Actually used to think you were a decent side, and wished you luck when you got promoted, but your fans seem to think your european champions for no good reason.Yes we would have prefered a 'big' club at home, as this is realistically about as far as we were expecting to go in the competition, but the vast majority of us were looking forward to the trip, it's just a shame it's looking less likely we'll be able to go now.
BrummieFOX Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 To be fair, there was about 3 pages of our fans saying it was a shit draw. The allocation is a joke.
TrentFox Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Norwich fans saying were up in arms about this because we are "jealous" of their football club, how does that make any sense?!? I didn’t used to mind Norwich but there fans seem to have caught massive head disease since they got promoted! A bit like some of ours did when there was an injection of cash into our club
Basingstoke Fox Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Sent an E-Mail to our club about this: Hi LCFC, Firstly, I hope I've contacted the correct people about this issue. I was hoping to clarify a few things regarding the ticket allocation for our 5th round FA Cup game away to Norwich City. The following has been taken from our official site: "Norwich City advised us of their admission prices on Friday evening but, disappointingly, we received notification on Saturday that only 2,400 away tickets will be allocated. Upon further consultation with the Football Association, it has been confirmed that, despite the exemplary record of Leicester City's travelling support in recent seasons, the decision was taken on the grounds of crowd safety by Norwich City's Safety Advisory Group." Could anybody please shed any further light on the safety issues which have been highlighted by Norwich City and their Safety Advisory Group? Whilst I can fully appreciate and understand the importance of crowd safety, I do find it very strange that despite the clear guidelines of the FA Cup which state that the away team are permitted to receive a 15% allocation if requested, yet we only have 8.9% of their ground. Are they claiming that this is a safety issue because there would be too many away fans in the ground? If so, are they unable to allocate us extra sections within the ground? Is this an issue with Leicester fans in particular? I ask this because in the above quote it states 'despite the exemplary record of Leicester City's travelling support in recent seasons'. I personally believe that the vast majority of our travelling support are very well behaved and I'm sure you will agree. Also, could I please confirm whether the allocation of 2400 tickets is just an initial allocation or the full allocation that we will receive for this fixture? Lastly, could you please provide me with some contact details for the Norwich City Safety Advisory Group? I would like further clarification from them regarding the reasons for our low ticket allocation. There will be many disappointed Leicester City fans and even if we are unable to receive a larger allocation, I feel that the fans will at least deserve a full explanation from the people who have made this happen. Many thanks in advance! Alex Warner I know our club isn't responsible but I wanted to try to get some more information before complaining to the relevant people.
NCFC in Peace Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Sorry guys, I think it's a bit cheeky on our part to use a loophole like this and you'd have to ask the CE why he chose to do it. I suppose it is fair to say that there has been a fair bit of trouble between hte two clubs over the years, so possibly justifiable.... However, I'd be pissed off if we didn't get the full allocation Honest question, would you sell 4000 tickets if you had them? By the way, we aren't really up our own arses, it's a bit of running joke about how "massive" we are, so don't take any comments about "smashing" you too seriously. Most of us sensible fans think we're favourites obviously, but Lesta are no mugs and it's still going to be a tough game. I'll be delighted to win 1-0 quite honestly.
JmorsonLCFC Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 I hope we go 3-0 down, bring it back to 3-3 in last 5 mins, get a replay, allocate them 1000 because their fans are high risk. and win 5-0 at home. the fookin cvnts.
