No not at all. you think hes gonna be back nxt week or something. He's probbably gonna be of for another 5/6 weeks then he's gotta get propper match fit so you would drop becks for the last couple of games would you? But back fit he's gonna be our best third choice by far.

StanSP Posted 21 February 2012 Posted 21 February 2012 With Beckford and Nugent clicking together now and with goals to show for it, there's no way I'd replace either of them with Vassell unless forced to i.e. injury or suspension. And even then, I'd be more than happy to give bring Schlupp in before him. Or even Hopper. I know Schlupp is back in training,. but not sure who is closer to match fitness, he or Vassell?

He isn't the best goalscorer, and never has been, but he has the pace and footwork to beat players, as we have seen. Most consistant player, in my opinion, since joining and I certainly would not be pleased to see him go. Better option than Dyer and Gallagher as well. Does anybody know how long Vassell has left on his contract? End of season.

MONreborn Posted 21 February 2012 Posted 21 February 2012 Forgot about schlupp waghorn and vassell these along with beckford and nugent means that delfonz and Howard should surely leave. I'd give vassel a 1 year contract for sure as cover for wings and cf. The 5 mentioned are surely good enough for the promotion push next season?
