  1. 1. Is loaning Matthew Mills to Leeds United the right decision?

Many seem to agree that he's been poor and so should be loaned out but that it shouldn't be to a rival? Surely giving rival teams poor players is tactical genius. Let's send Big Steve to another rival!

This is what I don't understand.

If he's poor he won't help any other team, so if these same people don't want him going to a "rival", surely they are admitting that he's not poor?

He's been poor for us but I can see a good manager getting the best out of him, Pearson can't handle his ego. The signing of Morgan just instigated whatever argument occured, he knows what he's doing he did the same with Gradel and Campbell. :glare:

I have to say though the price tag and wage package did us no favours, it was never going to work out.

Who voted for option 3? :unsure:lol

On a serious note, no player is bigger than the club (use Sir Alex as an example who gets rid regardless of ability) and if one of my players showed a lack of disrespect (negative influence on the rest of the players), he would be out.

Had he shown this I am sure he would still be with us but I may be wrong.

Just because hes been shit for us doesnt mean we should loan him to a rival.

Perhaps Pearson really has given up on promotion this season. I'd like to know if Leeds are contributing anything to his wages because its yet another strange decision made by Leicester.

it's helping them out, gives them another player to chose from...

Probably the right decision if he is causing unrest, we obviously don't know what's happened on detail.

Not sure why NP is getting stick for dropping him though. Not his player, he didn't pay £5m for him and while he is a good individual we know look lik we have a good unit at the back.

If NP feels that its the right decision then fair play .... My biggest concern is that if true we are footing the bill for his wages then that is farcical IMO .

If indeed we are paying most of his wages I personally would rather send him out to a league 1 side rather than send him to one of our play off rivals.Otherwise we could well end up with a similar situation as when DJ went to Blackpool.

What situation? You mean where Blackpool got promoted and could actually afford to buy him off us?

Or do you mean where we finished in the play-offs?

I'll take either of them sceanrios.

Yes both of those. if we are footing the bill then a lower league side would be better IMO.

How were either of those things bad things? I still don't get this whole big mistake it was to let Campbell go out on loan. We didn't get promoted and Blackpool did, but that was because we didn't beat Cardiff and Campbell and Blackpool had no bearing on that, if anything it would have worked to our advantage because if we had beaten Cardiff Campbell wouldn't have been able to play in the final.

As for Mills' move, it is the same thing, him being at Leeds is not going to be the reason why we don't get promoted, it will be because of all the points we have already dropped.

At least him being at Leeds means they may be able to afford to buy him at the end of the season.

There is clearly a serious breakdown in their relationship, having Mills around may lead to more sniping, chinese whispers, unfounded rumours etc. Get him off site for while and let things settle. Maybe something can be salvaged, but if it comes to a choice between NP and MM then NP has to win.

Why do you think we bought Wes Morgan ??
