Captain... Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 Very confident bunch, aren't we? If you are referring to those that don't think we will win comfortably, it is because we won our last game, we haven't won back to back for a calendar year. So those that don't think we will we win 5-0 are just beaten down by a pretty frustrating 12 months, but fortunately Coventry are going to play the sacrificial lambs to get over this curse, so thanks for that. I'm sitting up front in the optimism bus today and going for 5-0.
Happy Fox Posted 3 March 2012 Author Posted 3 March 2012 Very confident bunch, aren't we? If we aren't confident about beating your crap team then we will never be Leicester 4-0 Coventry.
George Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 The thing is though, you lot aren't very good. You'll beat us, but by the odd goal.
lestajigs Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 The thing is though, you lot aren't very good. You'll beat us, but by the odd goal. Are you obsessed with this forum, or do you really have a love for Leicester

Guest Bilo Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 We're good but only against good sides. The only thing that worries me about today. We did the double over Southampton, completely battering them at their place, but have failed to beat Barnsley, Portsmouth and Doncaster. Without wanting to sound like a walking cliche, these are the kinds of games we should be winning comfortably.
Greg2607 Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 Are you obsessed with this forum, or do you really have a love for Leicester He's just Curious. George.
darko2k7 Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 George why don't you do what Coventry fans do best and disappear please. Really can not wait till this game is long forgotten and Coventry are in League One so these obsessed don't care about us Coventry fans never darken this forum again.

burni Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 Somebody's uptight. Yes I am going, to the person that asked me. Setting off now . Ciao. Enjoy the day out! (despite losing of course ) and yes were not that good 50% of the time hence why were mid table , however that other 50% we have proved theres no better team in the league doing the double over Southampton im hoping you get the latter today although statistics would say at the best we can draw as we can't win two in a row
davieG Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 Merc The stakes are high for today's massive M69 derby with Coventry, says Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson. The Sky Blues arrive at the King Power Stadium bidding to give their hopes of Championship survival a boost with their first away win of the season. Nigel Pearson • • City, meanwhile, need the three points to keep alive their play-off hopes and record their first back-to-back league wins for more than a year. Coventry, who will be without manager Andy Thorn because of illness, are fighting for their lives, which Pearson warned would make them dangerous. But he said City must look to build on their morale-boosting away victories at Norwich and Derby as they begin a massive month. "There is an awful lot riding on the game," said Pearson. "Coventry are fighting for their lives in terms of staying up and we are striving to make in-roads into the league. "On top of that, it is a local derby, a very important one. "We know that our game has to be at its best. You can't go into any game in this league and not be at your best, as we have found out to our cost on a number of occasions this season already. "The situation remains the same, we want to go and win the game but we know we have to earn the right to win the game, regardless of what anyone else thinks about it. "I am aware it will be a tough game but, having said that, our players believe in themselves, there is a very good spirit among them and we are looking forward to it." Pearson said at the end of a sequence of nine games in 28 days, City will know if their dream of fighting for the play-offs has a chance of coming true. "It could be season-defining, just because of the number of games in a short period of time," he said. "Clearly it is going to have a huge influence. "We have got an awful lot to do and to put together a significant run if we are to make inroads, but we have to believe we can do it. Time will tell if we can achieve that." City welcome back Jeff Schlupp from seven weeks out with a knee injury, and Paul Gallagher is also a possibility after returning to training after a hamstring problem.

FrankieADZ Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 How many have we sold? apparently coventry sold all their allocation so i'm guessing maybe 26,000? Coventry sold out!?! it was only 1,600 tho wasnt it? makes a change for Cov to sell out of something
Guest Bilo Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 How many have we sold? apparently coventry sold all their allocation so i'm guessing maybe 26,000? The link posted said they'd sold their initial allocation of about 1250, cba to get it back again, and had requested more. We don't make the full 3,000 odd available immediately unless it's requested, usually by clubs with a sizable away following.
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 zClarkey @zClarkey Close@JamesAllenMK My cousin and uncle work at LCFC and have told me around 28000 - 30500 fans are expected.
Guest Bilo Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 http://www.ccfc.co.u...2630526,00.html Coventry haven't picked up an away win all season but on their last away trip to Nottingham Forest, a huge away following of over 2600 fans watched the 2-0 defeat. With the 'M69 derby' tomorrow and already over 1500 tickets sold for the trip, City will be watched by another bumper away support and Harrison couldn't thank the fans enough for their commitment.
FuriousFox46 Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 http://www.ccfc.co.u...2630526,00.html That just contexualises how massive we are
FrankieADZ Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 http://www.ccfc.co.u...2630526,00.html Bumper away support.....classic.
