George Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 The game won't be in doubt your assistant manager will just be in charge. If it was something serious it could of been, thankfully just a virus.
Craig Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 http://www.skybluest...g-into-hospital coward feigning illness. What a disappointment for all the ladies.
Kitchandro Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 If the play offs were completely beyond us then id rather stuff cov, lose to brizzle, forest, doncaster, just to see the back of them. Hope their biggest game is Nuneaton in 5 years time er, no. Cov will go down this season, I'm sure of it. Forest have been saved the only way they could have been. Portsmouth are one to add to my hate list.
carlhltid Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 Didnt realise you were an expert on the trends of Coventry City fans. I apologise. That is what happened at Forest, maybe we are not so bothered about this one. your support has been crap this year but i think you will bring near 3000 its the m69 derby shame were gonna smash ya though 4 nil
KFS Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 Didnt realise you were an expert on the trends of Coventry City fans. I apologise. That is what happened at Forest, maybe we are not so bothered about this one. Not so bothered? Leicester away is the biggest day of the year for a Cov fan (in close contention with burberry cap shopping) don't even deny it.
Happy Fox Posted 1 March 2012 Author Posted 1 March 2012 Wouldn't mind some of their younger players here such as Gael Bigirimana and Conor Thomas.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 Jeff Schlupp might feature saturday so the said on the radio i think, sub?
RonnieTodger Posted 2 March 2012 Posted 2 March 2012 Words can't describe how much I want to see Coventry relegated. The amount of stick we got in 07/08 when they were a Gareth McAuley header away from being relegated, was incredible. I don't want to see Coventry liquidated or anything like that. Just a nice downward spiral through League 1 would be enough for me.
Master Fox Posted 2 March 2012 Posted 2 March 2012 Feels like 100 years since we last played. Game on.
ozleicester Posted 2 March 2012 Posted 2 March 2012 Ahh the start of the season... all the hopes and dreams... 10 minutes in and Darius(?) was off and we were struggling... pretty reasonable sign of the season ahead? 3-0 tomoz
davieG Posted 2 March 2012 Posted 2 March 2012 Merc Matt Mills remains a member of the Leicester City squad after his proposed move to Leeds United appeared to stall yesterday. Leeds boss Neil Warnock admitted they had been interested in signing the centre-back on loan. It remains the case that he is one of our paid employees, and that is the way it is," said Pearson.City boss Nigel Pearson acknowledged there had been enquiries about the 25-year-old, who has fallen out of favour at the club, but Pearson refused to go into any more detail other than to say Mills would be considered for selection like any other player. "We will utilise him like any other player in the squad, when and if we feel appropriate. "There was interest and I am not making any further statements on that situation, other than he is where he is at the moment. "There is nothing more to say. There has been speculation and interest but nothing has happened." Former captain Mills' future is still shrouded in uncertainty after he was dropped from the squad for last week's win at Derby, and Warnock said he did approach City about taking the player temporarily. "He's one of the names mentioned, but we've talked to two or three clubs about a number of players," said Warnock. "It doesn't look like anybody will be coming in before the weekend." Meanwhile, Pearson confirmed that striker Jeff Schlupp will be in the squad to face Coventry tomorrow after making his comeback from injury, and Paul Gallagher has also returned to training. Schlupp has been missing for seven weeks with a knee injury but made a goal-scoring comeback in the reserves this week. Gallagher is making good progress after a hamstring injury, but the visit of the Sky Blues may come too soon for the forward. Neil Danns has picked up conjunctivitis but has been able to train, and Lee Peltier is fit after picking up an ankle injury against Derby. "Gallagher has trained for the last few days but, whether he will be close enough for the weekend, we will wait and see, but it's good to have him back in contention," said Pearson. "Jeff will be in the squad and it is positive to get him back after what we thought might be a serious injury. "He has recovered very quickly and he has looked very sharp in training. "It is difficult to put a timeline on players coming back. Martyn Waghorn is a case in point but his is a very unusual injury. "It is frustrating for him but great to have players ahead of schedule with other injuries, because it will be important to have as many players back as possible with the amount of games coming up. "Peltier has been training this week, so he is fine. It didn't look very good at the time, but he is okay. Neil has conjunctivitis but has trained and has seen the club doctor, Hopefully, he will be okay for the weekend."
marbelladave Posted 2 March 2012 Posted 2 March 2012 I am still finding it hard to get exited about the game tomorrow, I've been pretty pissed off with City for a while now and in the last few days I have come to understand why. It is not really our results or inconsistency that bothers me, I have supported City through much worse than this season, it is something else, something more fundamental. However poor we have been in the past, I have always thought that, in the main, everyone is pulling together as a club and as a team, even if the players were simply not good enough they usually tried their best. This season I think this simply has not been the case, too many players either not putting in the effort or playing for themselves, very, very little in the way of team ethic. Despite NFP's best efforts there are still players looking to impress as individuals rather than contribute to the team and there appears to be more 'passion' shown in dressing room bustups than we ever see on the pitch. Still not planning to go tomorrow, I might relent but I doubt it, shame really.......
Ric Flair Posted 2 March 2012 Posted 2 March 2012 Great news that Schlupp is back in the squad. If Danns is struggling then Drinkwater in for him and un-changed elsewhere.
burni Posted 2 March 2012 Posted 2 March 2012 good news for schlupp, hopefully waggy back soon. i think the team will be: Kasper Peltier, Morgan, Ledger, Kon Marshall, wellens, Danns, Dyer Nugent, Beckford Subs: Bamba, Kennerdy, Drinkwater, Schlupp, Howard Im starting to think with players coming back should we not have a goalie on the bench so we can have an extra outfield option? Otherwise i doubt we will see howard again as hes not usually the best option. Im thinking a solid 2 - 0 win with wellens and nugent scoring the goals, Leicester once again promotion favourites after this promising victory but then the pressure gets to the players and we lose 4 - 0 at bristol
THEFATBASTARD Posted 2 March 2012 Posted 2 March 2012 the chavs are under transfer embargo again...tinpot... 3-1 24,785...
Fox92 Posted 2 March 2012 Posted 2 March 2012 Don't know if mentioned, but Thorne is not managing them tomorow. He is ill. Hope he is alright, but I also hope is side are beaten tomorow.
