jonlcfc1990 Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Options up front Schlupp Howard Nugent Beckford Hopper Gallagher (His position is striker) Vassell Waghorn
Guest Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Interesting that we have 2 corners and it's Nugent who gets his head to both not BIG STEVE!
lcfcbaby Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 I know quite a lot about the Championship thanks very much. Investment in the squad was needed, maybe not on that scale, but we needed to spend money. Southampton have spent, West Ham have spent, they're doing alright. Does it work in the Premier League? See Chelsea, you must know nothing about the Premier League. See Man City.
The People's Hero Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 See Man City. Doing alright aren't they? The owners have maybe been a bit naive or made bad choices with managers, whatever, but they have backed us financially (ok through loans, but thats a different discussion) - and thats exactly what most of us wanted. Now lets go and get Robbie Fowler and go up.
Guest Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 2 headers from close and a shot from the edge of the box and Nuge doesn't even hit the target. What are we up to?
jonlcfc1990 Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 come on City get an equalizer and make them panic
The People's Hero Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 So much for Reading restricting us to perhaps a couple of shots from long range.
Wycombe Fox Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 haha duct tape* quack quack. I wondered which was correct when I typed it but see below a history of duck/duct tape; The first name for Duct Tape was DUCK. During World War II the U.S. Military needed a waterproof tape to keep the moisture out of ammunition cases. So, they enlisted the Johnson and Johnson Permacel Division to manufacture the tape. Because it was waterproof, everyone referred to it as “duck” tape (like water off a duck’s back). Military personnel discovered that the tape was good for lots more than keeping out water. They used it for Jeep repair, fixing stuff on their guns, strapping equipment to their clothing... the list is endless. After the War, the housing industry was booming and someone discovered that the tape was great for joining the heating and air conditioning duct work. So, the color was changed from army green to the silvery color we are familiar with today and people started to refer to it as “duct tape*.” Therefore, either name is appropriate.
Tielemans63 Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Sounds like the players are on their summer hols already. Seems they prob thought the same as most of us after the defeat at Briz.
purpleronnie Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Sounds like the players are on their summer hols already. Seems they prob thought the same as most of us after the defeat at Briz. your gif is friggin great!
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Sounds like the players are on their summer hols already. Seems they prob thought the same as most of us after the defeat at Briz. No it don't... They are putting in a far more spirited effort this half?
Guest Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 13 shots to 5 5 on target to 4 and Bamba relaced Kennedy for whoever asked.
Unabomber Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 anyone know what formation we are playing?? 3 5 2?
Tielemans63 Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 I wondered which was correct when I typed it but see below a history of duck/duct tape; That says a lot about today's game. You're looking up the history of duct/duck tape FFS!
Wycombe Fox Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 That says a lot about today's game. You're looking up the history of duct/duck tape FFS! What game?
Guest Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Blackpool 2 down Hull 2 up - could Fryatt make the prem?
lcfcbaby Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 13 shots to 5 5 on target to 4 and Bamba relaced Kennedy for whoever asked. 6 on target for us now!
Walker Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 See Man City. A bit different to the average Prem team who've 'spent' don't you think?! West Ham, Southampton spent a good deal in the Champ and reaping the rewards. Not that I ever said we SHOULD go about buying the league, just for the record!
Tielemans63 Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 No it don't... They are putting in a far more spirited effort this half? Not difficult that though- they were wank in the first half.. Still not busting a gut though are they? Still not raising the tempo like they should be.
HitchinFox Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 That says a lot about today's game. You're looking up the history of duct/duck tape FFS! I find your Chuck Norris/Nintendo gif the most entertaining thing I've seen or heard all day. Not the funniest though. That was Howard for Beckford at half time.
