Guest Col city fan Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Sounds like we are having real problems with keeping the ball as well as having no outlet to attack with =\ Yep.....
Corky Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 So predictable, Reading have the better of us every game. Only seven weeks to go til it's all over.
lcfcbaby Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 I worry that if Pearson doesn't start to show some progress before the end of the season, the owners will shoot the gun. Back to square one again. The owners are just as much to blame as the managers (almost)! They've flashed their money around raising hopes, trying to buy promotion and that is not how it works, it may have worked with QPR but it's not working for them now! If they sack Pearson at the end of the season then they aren't doing their job properly and they prove they don't know much about football! The championship is such a close league at the beginning of the season it's so hard to predict who will do well and who won't! We need a manager that we can rely on and that won't leave us for another club, and in return we need to owners to keep the faith in Pearson and just for once try and keep a manager for over a year! Changing a manager mid-season is almost always detrimental!
jonlcfc1990 Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 In the same way that it was LONG TERM INVESTMENT at Portsmouth? Jesus christ your comparing us to Portsmouth?
Brooksy Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Never heard us play so bad. On the plus side at least i don't have my shit as a meal later on
MattyFromLE Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Yep..... We're not working hard enough, Pearson needs to change it...is what i left out
Salieri Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 I bang this drum because I believe it to be key to our lack of success. If we can't keep the ball up front and defend as a team we will get nowhere. I can forgive Nuge for not being able to do this enough.. At least he scores goals. I'd rather keep on making what I consider important points than do what you do.. Simply knock others for doing so. I have nothing against you mate.. But stop knocking me for actually wanting to try to suggest what I feel the major problems are.. That's all I'm doing. And Young is saying exactly the same thing... So why do you need to make the same point over and over and over again? Do you think we are all so stupid that you have to repeat yourself on a daily basis? You don't rate Beckford, he doesn't hold the ball up well, his first touch and control is poor, he doesn't score enough goals..... WE GET IT COL.
Dan Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Too much delusion on here. Purpleronnie's prediction, absolutely slated all over by everyone for being negative, is actually a higher position than we currently occupy. We've got nothing to be excited about, we're inconsistent, weak and our squad, for what we paid, is a joke. Roll on next season.

ScouseFox Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 I don't know ....contradicting yourself...again. Try looking for that ignore button again. Are you on drugs? What the hell are you talking about? Where have I been either pro Liverpool, or contradicted myself? Even when you're on ignore, I get told when you respond to something I say, unfortunately.
Kitchandro Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 How come? Just because of comments above and numerous ones I've heard over the years. Shocking atmosphere's and everyone seems to be sitting down. Just the epitome of a shit away day
yorkie1999 Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 He has to report on Hinckley, because BBC radio Leicester have a reporter there. Got a reporter at derby and hull as well have we. I think pearson has finally given up on the league and the last 2 games have been all about lulling chelsea into a false sense of security. Go nigel.

We all know that promotion is slim this season, but there is still a chance! At the beginning of the season you must have been mad to predict anywhere outside the playoffs for Leicester!

Guest Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 I'm looking forward to the change of atmosphere in here when we score the equaliser.
martyn Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 At the game. Its going exactly how that reading fan predicted, we are seeing lots of the ball but doing absolutely nothing with it. End of the half summed it up, we have possession but move the ball so slowly that its easy to defend, they nick possession drive at our defence and win a freekick on the edge of the box. Never seen pearson this animated in a negative sense before. Be surprised if Beckford appears 2nd half. Kennedy v poor as well.
Steve Agnew Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 If he's not getting into the defence, let's put Bamba in midfield and get him using his strength and pace to win the ball and keep hold of it. Either play Danns centre mid, or don't play him at all - he is not a winger! Beckford sounds rubbish, and drinkwater seems to be giving the ball away a lot of the time. Ring the changes!
HitchinFox Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Shots on target at HT: Reading 4 Foxes 2. Possession at HT: 50% - 50% Corners: Reading 2 Foxes 2 Now, I fully appreciate that stats CAN mean little as you can usually make them prove what ever it is you want to prove. But at least it seems that we aren't being completely shat on and out of the game. I stand by my prediction. 1-1.

Sisyphus Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Jesus christ your comparing us to Portsmouth? Invested massive amounts of money into players, but without the success or income to go with it...it is easy to throw money at a shot at the big time- but failure is very expensive.
