ian the fox Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Tailking to a " celery lover" last night in the boozer and he tells me , Chelsea hate being attacked & that is theyre biggest weakness & our only chance of getting a result , Nigel..... tell the team to go for the """""""JUGULAR """"""from the first whistle please Or we will be thrashed ..............
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 I do agree that we need to pressure Chelsea, and not rely on trying for a draw. Unless we rise above our current form, we will be beaten, but the Cup is a great leveller, and I do believe it is possible to win, even if it takes a replay.
ian the fox Posted 17 March 2012 Author Posted 17 March 2012 we gotta tread on toes , play long & ugly , thats my view , to stand any chance , looking forward to it I must say
acooling08 Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Just get Dyer to attack Luiz. We're guarnteed at least 3 goals that way!
whoareyaaa Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 If Luiz is playing we stand a chance of a Peno for sure speically with dyer, Beckford, Danns running at them this is why I think Gallagher may be worth the risk but I dunno he needs to put a good shift in if he does start.
Fox92 Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 We have nothing to loose. We are not expected to win. I think we should just go and attack.
MikeyT Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 We have nothing to loose. We are not expected to win. I think we should just go and attack. Agree entirely. As long as they go out there and fight and not let their heads go down if we go behind that's all we can ask. Can't wait for it though. Proud to be the only side outside the Premiership now in the Cup.
paddy Agyemang Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Attack and go for it Attack as a unit and defend as a unit boys
yorkie1999 Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Don't know what the music is they play when they come on but I hope it's Chelsea dagger like at cov cuz I thought that was really funny 1st day when we outsung them with their own song and they all sat down.
Yojoe36 Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 We have nothing to loose Apart from being slapped in the face if Torres plays and scores. That for me, is worst case scenario
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 We have nothing to loose. We are not expected to win. I think we should just go and attack. We do have something to lose... A game at Wembley.... I hope we don't just go gun Ho cos we'd probably get mauled. A tactically sound performance is needed, like we did at Norwich. This game ain't beyond us if we play to our strengths.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Apart from being slapped in the face if Torres plays and scores. That for me, is worst case scenario He'll score, knowing our luck it will be a 95th minute winner
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Think our tactic will be similar to Norwich and Cardiff game
Haydos Posted 18 March 2012 Posted 18 March 2012 Players need to be taken out of their comfort zones. You defend well and attack well once and you can win. We almost did so against Man City. We do have capable players and if we go out there with nothing to lose we can score. All I ask is we try to attack. If we try to attack and lose I can live with it, if we show no ambition and pace going forward I will be extremely disappointed.
Leicesterpool Posted 18 March 2012 Posted 18 March 2012 4-3-3 formation for me Kasper Panstil (wish Pearson would pick him) St Ledger Morgan Kennedy Wellens Danns Drinkwater Schlupp Beckford Nugent BENCH- Logan Howard Bamba Gallagher Dyer Marshall Hopper
MattyFromLE Posted 18 March 2012 Posted 18 March 2012 All i want from today is. Beckford gives 100% and shows he wants to be here. Kasper is on form as usual. 6,000 strong loud and proud for the whole 90 minutes. I want us to not embarrass ourselves. I want us to score as being in that 6,000 will be insane. I want a beer and burger before hand...errrrrr. Am I asking too much?
Yojoe36 Posted 18 March 2012 Posted 18 March 2012 He'll score, knowing our luck it will be a 95th minute winner Nevermind
Out Foxed Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 worst idea ever. we should have sat back, played football and drawn them out. hindsight is 20/20 but we were pretty naive.
Guest shearfox Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 We attacked and got caught out by their pace up top, wasn't a good idea playing so high against such a quality side away...
lcfcbaby Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 We attacked and got caught out by their pace up top, wasn't a good idea playing so high against such a quality side away... What else did you expect from Morgan and Bamba?
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 What else did you expect from Morgan and Bamba? So you didn't get 'the point' I'm a Pearson fan.. I think he has good man management skills. This season, however, I think he's been a bit tactically naive IMO. Yesterday being a case in point. Yes, we were against a vibrant Chelski side... But it sounds like it could have been 6 or 7... Completely over run...

Yes they could have 6 or 7 but we could have had 4 or 5. But I agree when you say Pearson has been tactically naive!
Lambert09 Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 Chelsea are flying at the minute whatever tactics we played we were going to loose. We gave a good account of ourselves. Move on
