Do people think the atmosphere was better at Man City last year or Chelsea?

Chelsea for me.

Maybe it made a difference being in the lower tier though, as i was in the upper for Man city. The atmosphere there was still good, but was nothing on yesterday. My ears were ringing when i got on the coach.

I was stood in Lower tier row 3, as the first two rows were covered it made me right at the front and right in front of Beckford when he scored, great effort from the fans, I suppose you could say that I was nearest row to the pitch and the noise coming from behind me was like seeing a metal band live on an arena tour. On the way out to the coaches the streets were filled with noise from our fans, I thought Cardiff in the play offs 2nd leg would take some beating but yesterday will live long in the memory.

Finnegan said that Stamford Bridge is miles better than our ground and fans should stop whinging.

That's why I posted to him what you've quoted.

Noise level wise, the lower tier all under the roof bit was like a stand in its own. Only contained our own noise, and you most definitely couldn't hear the upper tier whatsoever.

Agree with most of what you're saying Stu. It did feel like an isolated stand and you couldn't hear the top tier.

But considering we were soundly beaten our support was very good. I've been in better ends at even at home it's been louder on certain occassions but I still thought in the second half we did ourselves proud.

It didn't help that the back 4 or 5 rows were told to sit down by those on the back row. I was on row 16 of the lower tier which is the very back so like you my view was very restricted. Even if you sat down it was pretty poor and I still had to duck my head, couldn't sit upright. For the record I thought Stamford Bridge was a very good ground on the whole, but the view I had was pretty unacceptable for a supposedly top class, Premier League stadium, and one which I paid £30 to go to.

It didn't ruin my day but it was quite disappointing.

Yep that was me :D

Got a few photos with Leicester fans who wanted a picture with me

Why? Are you famous?

Still been smiling to myself about our end all day at work today. Really hope our away support remains the consistent standing and singing rabble it has been in Cup games lately.

My favourite shirts are the fox leisures I bought my nephew a new one from the megastore and it was in tatters after a month I've had all my old ones for ages (obviously) so I was gutted to see it slip out my hand and down the gap :(

Why were you taking it off?

I had an under shirt on and I was gettin hot so opted to take that one off and in the midst of the switch it just slipped off my arm :( RIP lucky shirt

Cheers, the fvckers shouldn't be allowed to get away with shit like that, gotta be 160 odd seats times 4 rows - rip off!

Exactly. I know their argument will be that you should be seated, but that's beside the point. Even being seated the view was restricted

Unlucky.

Had you been swinging it around your head doing that 'song' I'd have said Karma

Even got a chap on an FC Basel messageboard who was watching the second half on a German TV channel praising the loudness of our support.

Talking of little Hitlers when I aproached the turnstile I noticed they were body searching fans so I aproached a Female steward as I had a hip flask and asked her if there was somewher i could leave it till after the match she took me to the hotel and explained to the Steward there what the problem was he took my name and Address then asked for my ticket he then told me I was not being allowed into the ground ??? You fooking what a Police officer then took my hip flask and emptied what little bit there was in it away . I was not pleased and told them so I was then asked to leave the area ?? when I left I talked my son into going into the match. Feeling pissed off I went back to the place where they took my ticket off me and said I wanted the Cops Number and the Stewards name which I didnt get so I asked someone else where the main office was and made my way through 1000s of Chelsea fans who were telling me to go back the other way .When i got to the office the receptionist was very helpfull and called head of security who agreed to meet me back at the place where my ticket was taken after lots of words were said he said I am going to do something I have never done before and gave me back my ticket. although I misssed a part of the game I was proud to stand up and be counted and stand my ground with the little shit and his bobby mate most would just have given up .Great voices inside and outside after we are true loyal supporters who outsang them even when 5-2 down .I have e-mailed Chelsea about the way I was treated so we will see what they say High Risk I am

Well Ive had a reply saying my complaint has be registered and been given a number and I will hear from them in 7 to 14 days
