Danny the Fox 95 Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 Lets really get behind the boys and create a great atmosphere for these last few home games. We need to be as loud as possible to show the players we are behind them like we have been for the majority of the season. Would look great if the whole ground waves their scarves in the air when we sing 'We Love You' BLUE ARMY!
SaM 12 Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 to be honest i much prefer these games where theres not much to play for!
jonthefox Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 I meant to ask. What happened to the melbourne song ?.
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 24 March 2012 Author Posted 24 March 2012 I meant to ask. What happened to the melbourne song ?. I know that's what I thought. Everyone wanted to do it, but nothing really happened.
Raj Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 we need to move the Kop with the Family Stand to create an atmosphere.
FrankieADZ Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 we need to move the Kop with the Family Stand to create an atmosphere. yeah and Im sure the police would be thrilled as **** if that ever happened...dont get why a few seem to think this all the time. also you dont need to move the end..the fans in general need to be more vocal.
GBLCFC Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 I think the home atmosphere has really improved in recent games with the We Love You chant. It involves most of the stadium and I think it looks quite good. More of the stadium is now involved in the atmosphere now rather than L1 and surrounding blocks and occasionly the Kop.

Karljohn Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 we need to move the Kop with the Family Stand to create an atmosphere. Cracking idea Raj, cant think why no one had mentioned this previous...........
Voll Blau Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 Singing We Love You 60 times a game is a pretty short term solution, especially when the time folk are only interested in singing the OWOWOWOWO bit at a million miles an hour. Need to work at making sure everyone knows the proper range of old school songs. We are Leicester, let's be proud of our tradition.

Need to work at making sure everyone knows the proper range of old school songs. We are Leicester, let's be proud of our tradition. It's typical, hilarious and shameful all in one go! We copy a shit chant off x amount of clubs 18months after I first heard it, then make out its the best thing since sliced bread. Then it gets over used to the point where after two months we've all but worn it out. A good proportion of the fans who enjoy this chant don't know the words to the usual Leicester chants, and have no intent on learning them either! Then to round it all off, the 'chant' has now been cut short to where there are no words, just plenty of scarf waving and jumping around, being sung a zillion times too fast. Happens with every chant we do and its embarassing to be honest! Says something about the intelligence of the fans as a whole too
halferowley2 Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 The scarf waving is great and the stadium is much noisier, but better atmosphere just lately. Want the players to be proud to be wearing the shirt and the fans proud to support the foxes. PLAYING FOR PRIDE ALL THE WAY TO THE PREMIER IN 2013

The Year Of The Fox Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 boring fecker Looking at your location I presume you dont go to many games. Had you have, you'd know that every chant we do gets ruined by retards who can't keep the same tempo. Whether that be We Love You, Ring of Fire, the David Nugent one, the Beckford one or When You're Smiling. They all sound shit if I'm honest! I'm not moaning for the sake of being a twat, I hope the culprits realise through reading this and change it

I'm not moaning for the sake of being a twat, I hope the culprits realise through reading this and change it I think that We Love You is the best thing since sliced bread, but I know all of the words to our most popular songs. I have season tickets at home in a quiet bit of the stadium so I sit and stay quiet like everybody else around me. But at the rare away games I go to (last one being Chelsea) there wasn't a single song that was sung that I couldn't sing to. So your argument of people only knowing we love you is plain wrong mate, sorry.
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 Good point well made Stu. One person claiming to be an exception doesn't make what you say wrong. We don't have an atmosphere problem. What are people expecting? The Nou Camp? I've done over 50 grounds with City and we rank quite well on atmosphere I think. No, it's nowhere near as good as at Filbo. Football's changed. It's shit but there's nothing that can be done about it. Unfortunately, and unsurprisingly, a thread on an online forum can't repair the damage that consumerism has done to the atmospheres at beautiful game. Enjoy your matchday experience.
Voll Blau Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 Or introduce even more new stuff. Yep. Would love to see it crack on and get some original chants going, but even that Ajax/Melbourne one won't happen until we've seen at least another dozen English supports do it first. Too many sheep in our fanbase I'm afraid.
