We shouldn't have to forsake tradition just because people fancy singing OWOWOWO but can't be ared with anything with words. The two styles can, and should, be able to co-exist!

The Hull fan makes some good points. Simply dismissing what he's saying because some of his fellow fans are ultimate Sky Sports bellends is a bit daft.

Yeh but have you seen the 'mauled by the tigers' chant? We're not the ones who should be embarassed.

Well that's the point I was making in my last sentence.

I take your point but he's hardly arguing from a position of strength is he?

Hull are some of the cringeworthy Soccer AM 'banta' boys around, they're hardly the Holmesdale Fanatics or Green Brigade themselves.

It really has gone to a whole new level ever since the Middlesbrough game. As much as I want us to sing our "classics" instead of these continental songs, I'd take us singing We Love You and being loud over 6 people singing WYS anyday.

Keep it up for Tuesday.

Actually WYS seems to be an old song that has benefitted from the improvement in atmosphere. It's been sung much louder and more passionately in recent games. I keep going on about revamping it to make it sound more inspiring (as in, sung more like the actual song - slower and in tune) but I doubt it would ever catch on, people don't like changing what they know.

We must not neglect our classic songs.

How you're all not embarrassed of yourselves is quite simply beyond me. Any team or football ground that has a fat, bald b*****d smashing a drum as hard as he can for 90 minutes is just plane wrong. You all acted like he was your leader yesterday. You also Played songs after you scored your goals which is quite simply horrific, the sort of nonsense you see at ground like Scunthorpe. The crystal palace song makes my tummy churn, and then you decided to do the poznan, which is stolen from man city or indeed Leich Poznan. And then you had grown men waving their scarfs above their heads, making some sort form of bouse. I was more angry with what I was seeing around me than my teams fairly abject attacking woes. Football has turned into a commercial, soccer am shity world. You have certainly fallen victim..

You're right, that's no way to behave on aircraft. Totally disrespectful.

What's more embarrassing: Fans supporting their team or a grown man using the word "tummy"?

Why are we arguing, the atmosphere has improved greatly in recent weeks, this is a good thing. Just add to it with new continental chants and our old chants and we could be amazing.

The HF are good but L1 outnumber them and cleary have the potential to be better, also the whole of their ground doesn't get as involved as ours does with the we love you chant.

Well that's the point I was making in my last sentence.

Then why are you so happy for him to collectively judge all Leicester fans? It's the same thing.

But I bet if the Dull City fans' created that sort of atmosphere at the KC, you'd be tugging your little maggot at how amazing your support was.

The atmosphere has definitely improved since 'Boro and I personally don't care what is sung, as long as it has a positive affect on the players' and what happens on the pitch.

Atmosphere definitely improving. I just hope it carries on into next season whatever happens at the end of this one.

Went with my Blackpool mate to their game against Reading yesterday and both sets of fans were appalling. Blackpool lot didn't sing a single song other than occasionally chanting 'seaside seaside..' and the Reading fans were all just sat on their hands apart from a group of maybe 100-150 in the top corner. I was missing the KP like mad.

:crylaugh: Your fans were absolutely dire yesterday with the amazing Songbook of "Barmby Army" for most of the game and the occasional "Pearson is a wank£r" chant. Bitterness. :nono:

One of the comments on that video made me laugh:

The gayest tiger mauling since Siegfried and Roy.

So wrong and yet so right.

From where I sit in c2 I can see jobber and it's funny that we can see when he beats the drum for the last time it takes at least a second before the beat reaches us

i genuinely can't believe that you wrote this sentence.

Hi everyone! I went to the game yesterday, the first I've been since Millwall partly due to work commitments, living in Birmingham and a lack of enthusiasm. I sat in J3. I have to say its the best I have enjoyed a game in 30 yrs! This is due to the unquestionable commitment by all of our players! This was 100% down to the superb fans all around me! Never been so proud of my club and fellow fans. I lost my voice yesterday and am gutted I can't make Tuesday! PLEASE PLEASE keep up the good work. You all can make this season happen !!!!

It's improved alot in the last few weeks, but we still have a long way to go, but improvement is nice to see, like the team has to build on their performance and consistancy in games so do us fans on the atmosphere.

Apparently Cardiff's response was to sing 'Pecked by the Bluebirds.'

Now I don't like Cardiff but that one made me laugh. :D

:chant: Well Done you must be frontrunner for the 'Shittest WUM award' this season.

At least we create some noise, and are trying to evolve our chants rather than sticking to the same old, same old from the last 20 years. We had a man sent off and yet you still didnt try to get your team going where as we did.
