Dan Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Luigi Glombard is a great shout. Think people saying Moreno are pretty harsh, shocking centre half but actually looked a half decent player in centre mid with a decent range of passing, not good for us but nowhere near as bad as some other shouts.
Bugg Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 I know he scored a few own goals, but Frank Sinclair, a player that played over 160 games for Leicester and was also part of the 2000 Coca-Cola Cup winning team, cannot be classed as poor and also be mentioned within the same thread as Lewis, Wise and Low. Please! You are completely spot on here. Sinclair was a very good player for us and his back-to-back own goals made him a target of ridicule even though he was a solid defender.
Tuna Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Graham Fenton, Arnar Gunnlaugsson, Nicolas Priet, Franck Rolling, Aman Verma.
SemperEadem Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Arnar Gunnlaugsson not a chance! He was my favorite player growing up along with Muzzy due to his name, I remember him scoring a belter of a free kick at the double decker end.
leicester4life Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 arnar only scored screamers. my vote goes to most of the shite levein signed from the scots leagues
Corky Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 conrad logan hasnt played for us in about 2 years or so He scores when he wants.
ScouseFox Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 Sergio Hellings' most recent club stats, according to wiki, are: 2009-present SV Roeselare Apps† 0 (Gls)† (4) The man is a genius. He's not played and he's still scored 4 times!

Austin Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 Barry hayles was dog shite Mods. Delete the above post now please.
SemperEadem Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 Hayles will always be remembered for shinning in that goal in late on once (Palace at home maybe?) and the great performance away at Barnsley. 'We all dream of a team of Barry Hayles'
bmt Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 'We all dream of a team of Barry Hayles' That song needs a comeback.
Fox92 Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 That song needs a comeback. Yeah if you support Truro. And they should sing it considering he has scored 25 goals in 54 games!
Vardinhio Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 From Wikipedia: "Hayles signed a record transfer deal of £53.72 and a packet of Juicy Fruit with Southern League Premier Division club Truro City on 18 September 2010.[15][16]"
inckley fox Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 I thought the late Marc North was as ineffective a right back as I ever saw. Carey and Trotter at their worst were something else, though. I personally hated Junior Lewis. I had an argument with Peter Taylor about him once, oddly. I told him he was a second-rate goalkeeper at non-league level who'd been dragged through the divisions by Taylor (which, I admit, was rude). He said 'if you don't see that Junior Lewis has been a class act [at Premiership level], then that says all we need to know about you' before reminding me 'I am the manager of Leicester City Football Club'. Hysterical stuff. Marshall (L) was awful too. And another of Taylor's midfield signings, who I won't name, but who looked like a park footballer for six months, got us relegated, got injured, beat our left back up and then tried to have the club shut down. If pushed, it'd have to be he.
iancognito Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 Yeah if you support Truro. And they should sing it considering he has scored 25 goals in 54 games! True. He's dynamite when you play against him on football manager 2012 and Hammond's pretty useful in the non-league too. For me though it's got to be Junior Lewis by a mile, he was a third division player at Premier League level getting 20K a week. The whole Taylor era is summed up by him. He rarely found a pass and his first touch gave you the idea his legs were made of porridge. Sergio Hellings would've been next choice but he never got any game time so it's probably harsh.
