ivarti Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 We all know this guy. The worst ever Premier League player of all time, the joke that became a Premier League reallity, have Leicester ever played a player that could be described in the same way. I know that fans don't rate Trevor Benjamin, Ade Akinbiyi and Junior Lewis much, but they all did well at a number of levels of football and can not be described as Dia copies. So we have to dig deeper, in my knowledge City have never played such a player or am I wrong ?
Saxondale Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 To be fair Josh Low performed well at Northampton (apparently) so he can't count. If anything, somebody like Kaebi or that Danny Uchechi (even though he never played). Or any one of those mysterious young foreign players that popped up out of nowhere, hung around for a bit then left.
Lambert09 Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 MORENO or Lamey In recent times Or even Elvis Hammond
AyewJoking Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Zolt Lazcko or whatever his name was. Plays for Sampdoria now I think.
Captain... Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 I think it has to be Kaebi, came here based on nothing but reputation and youtube videos, I don't think he ever made a start so we can't judge whether he was a good or not, and fortunately we had a manager with more sense than Souness. I can't think of any player that was signed that was so bad that he looked like he had never played football before, maybe Kalac, but he has obviously gone to have a sucessful career as a bench warmer at big clubs.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Kaebi / Junior Lewis / De Vries / Hammond / Low / Welsh / Marshall (Lee) / Andy Johnson / Hellings / Casino Jimmy / Hayes / Crnic / Jarrat Take your pick....
Captain... Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Casino Jimmy stands out for me. I can see the comparison, was signed after claims by his agent that he was the next Peter Schmeichel, not quite as good as the agent phoning up Souness and saying it was George Weah's cousin, but the problem is we never saw Jimmy play so we can't judge on his ability. I think Kalac is closer in that he was signed amongst lots of hype, we are all excited by the prospect of having a 6'7 Aussie international keeper and when he got on the pitch he was awful. played for a game and a half, in which time he conceded 5 goals all of which were his fault. Was dropped and never to be seen again until the final minute at wembley. Please lets not turn this into another name as many shit Leicester players as you can thread, they get very boring very quickly.
cc_star Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Lamey in recent times, never a pro footballer in a million years. Moreno was a tad unfortunate tbh, would have liked to have seen him in midfield a bit more, disaster at CB

FantasticMrFuchs Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Sergio Hellings or Hossian Kiebei* - Truely awful players. Junior Lewis played well for us when he was on loan it was when he signed a perm contract he was shocking.

RonnieTodger Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Patrick Gerrbrandt - absolute joke of a defender
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Patrick Gerrbrandt - absolute joke of a defender Gerrbrand was not an 'absolute joke of a defender'.....
