Deluded - Fans who still believe we are good enough for promotion this season and all our players are premiership players etc

Optimist - Accepting we are not good enough but think we have got a good chance of promotion next season

Realist - People who have realised pretty early on in the season that we weren't as good as we thought we were and accepting promotion would have been a big ask all year

Pessimist - Most of these claim to be realists and harp on about the olden days and how football isn't the same these days blah blah blah. Seem to enjoy us losing so they can spout shit about how the mangers isn't good enough or how bad certain players are.

Would put myself in the optimist category because, at the end of the day, what's the point in going to support your club if you are just finding a variety things to moan at week in week out.

I can think of a few more categories

I would call myself a realist.. BUT.. I do think we have a good shot at promotion next season.

What category is the fan who after a win thinks we'll win the league, then after a loss say we're gonna be relegated?

Posted

I'd say i'm a realist, however to some people (Mainly optimists who refuse to accept the team isn't playing well no matter what) it can often been seen a pessimism.

2 types of players

Deadwood never going to get us promoted-Wellens, Gallagher, Dyer, Mills, Pantsil,Howard etc

Players who have the right mentality and quality for promotion: Pelts, Beckford, Kasper, Nugent, Konchesky, Marshall, Drinkwater, Danns and King

To be fair, Dyers had quite a good season!

Not really, just going on trends observed over the last few weeks that seems to be the general reaction. I apologise for having an opinion.

apology accepted ,don't do it again without written permission, Anthropology is a science not to be trifled with.

I'm an optimist with a splash of self-doubt.

I always think next season will be better.

And do you know what...next season will be!!
