The Doctor Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 So then, the food wars series continues with Choccy bar wars (blame Haydos). Group E: Galaxy Yorkie Lion Bar Club Bar Double Decker Group F Mars Bar Twix Flake Wispa Group G Dairy Milk Caramel Curly Wurly Time Out Fudge Group H Snickers Gold Bar Bourneville Topic Vote for two from each group, extra votes will be ignored yadda yadda yadda, now let the controversy begin! (group stage runs until next Sunday - 8pm)
Saxondale Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 I'm glad Club bar is getting panned in Group E. Not a proper choccy bar.
Daggers Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 Club is a fvcking biscuit ffs. This whole thing is a joke - there's next to no proper chocolate bars, just biscuits and chocolate-based confectionery products.
Finnegan Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 Club is a fvcking biscuit ffs. This whole thing is a joke - there's next to no proper chocolate bars, just biscuits and chocolate-based confectionery products. That's what happens when you leave an amateur in charge.
Daggers Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 A Fudge? A fvcking Fudge? Surely a hint to what type of product the Fudge would be is given in its bleeding name?! It's fvcking fudge.
Raw Dykes Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 There's no Star Bar, Boost, Drifter or Double Decker, but there is Club, Penguin and Gold bar! More chocolate bars, less biscuits, please.
Daggers Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 It's like the whole thing is being run by Nigel Pearson - it's the only way to explain this utter shambles.
Daggers Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 I'm abstaining. I'm too scared of heights and falling to do that.
I am Rod Hull Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 No Boost and no Wispa Gold. I'm abstaining. I have also given this topic the chocolate finger.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 They've all got chocolate in, haven't they? Where is the line drawn between something being a chocolate bar and not? If having something in other than chocolate were to be the criteria for disqualification then I reckon only 5 of the 16 should be included. I didn't let that stop me voting, I LOVE being given the option of choosing one thing over another thing or series of things, it's probably one of the best things that ever happens to me
21st Century Fox Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 POWER TO THE PURPLE!! If some of those pretenders get consideration, I demand recognition for this Ottoman treat!!
Saxondale Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 They've all got chocolate in, haven't they? Where is the line drawn between something being a chocolate bar and not? If it's small and sold solely in multipacks (eg. Penguin, Club), it's a lunch biscuit. If it can be bought on it's own in a newsagent, it's a choccy bar. The end.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 If it's small and sold solely in multipacks (eg. Penguin, Club), it's a lunch biscuit. If it can be bought on it's own in a newsagent, it's a choccy bar. The end. That's a pretty good definition. Part of a multipack! Not to be sold separately. Always found this warning a bit sinister. It's certainties like this that bring structure to our otherwise chaotic lives, and I for one applaud them heartily
Daggers Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 Multipacks are the key to secrets they don't want you to know. Empty will back me up on this one.
21st Century Fox Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 Multipacks are the key to secrets they don't want you to know. Empty will back me up on this one. Empty's been amassing KitKat foil for years, for insulation from their control.
The Doctor Posted 16 April 2012 Author Posted 16 April 2012 Where the **** is the Double Decker? I'm glad Club bar is getting panned in Group E. Not a proper choccy bar. Club is a fvcking biscuit ffs. Quit your bitchin'. Double decker has replaced club - happy now?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 All the wimpy choc with low cocoa levels are leading. Fters are sick and twisted. Twisted I say!
Daggers Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 No. A Topic and a Snickers is basically the same thing, and they're both shit. I've no idea what a Gold thing is. I think I've soiled myself, I am lost, cold and scared.
