He's a talented player and showed that in glimpses, just took him time to settle in England. He's proving at Charlton he's a class act and defo a better version of Howard. Would of been a good option to have.... I know he made a HUGE error but we all make mistakes and deserve 2nd chances

Dan Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 I always said he's never a terrible footballer, even when he left us, but going in to sign him would just be a cretinous move now, we've got so many better players we could look at yet we'd turn to someone who arguably cost us a place at Wembley and hadn't even been talked to by NP since? If we're serious about making the top 2 next year we need to sign better players than Howard and Kermorgant. It is as simple as that.

Petchy Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 Hindsight is a wonderful thing, isn't it? If he hadn't of got snapped up by Charlton but instead applied his trade in Ligue 2, and failed miserably, I'm sure you wouldn't have even considered this topic.
