VinceNoir Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 For me, RvP will walk it and Welbeck will be young player of the year even though Aguero should get it. Dempsey should be on the list instead of Parker or Silva, imo. Who gets your vote? Who should be on the list? Who shouldn't? Discuss. EDIT: I accidentally made two topics. Feel free to delete one of them
StanSP Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 RVP. Aguero. Surprised Dempsey isn't on Player of the Year list. I would have still voted for RVP and he'll most likely deservedly win it, but I think Dempsey should have at least been considered!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 RVP. Aguero. Surprised Dempsey isn't on Player of the Year list. I would have still voted for RVP and he'll most likely deservedly win it, but I think Dempsey should have at least been considered! Dempsey has had an outstanding season. You could argue a better one than even RvP given the players he has around him by comparison (no insult to Fulham.) But as everyone says, RvP.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 All votes are to RVP Iv voted RVP and Daniel Sturridge! I too am surprised that Dempsey isn't in contention, he has been brilliant this season and wouldn't be shocked if a big club goes in for him
Haydos Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 Err Demba Ba? Faded in the last few months. But then again so has David Silva.
StanSP Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 Faded in the last few months. But then again so has David Silva. Because he's been played out of position to accommodate for Cisse. Not his fault he has faded but overall he's had a great season in helping Newcastle where they've got to.
Fox92 Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 Robin Van Persie. Wonderul player and a fantastic season. I would like to add though, why are the bigger players at bigger clubs always nominated? What about players like Grant Holt? Came into the division as a lower league footballer, and has scored a lot of goals at the higest level in England.
ScouseFox Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 Faded in the last few months. But then again so has David Silva. Aye, as has Aguero and Hart. Rooney had a quiet spell before Christmas. RvP is the only player in the league to have been on form all season. So he should win it with ease.
Tielemans63 Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 RVP, although I agree that Clint Dempsey should be on the list. Young player of the year will prob go to Welbeck although not one of those players have been truly outstanding like Bale was last year. I reckon Chamberlain will break through properly next season and win next year's YPOTY.
ScouseFox Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 Victor Moses is a bit unlucky too. He's done more for struggling Wigan than AOC has for Arsenal.
lcfcadam Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 RVP and Aguero from that shortlist, no two ways about it.
