Torres came back to form when they played us, so by my calculations he's half Leicester'ian now.

Whilst I despise Chelsea and hope Bayern stuff them in the final (I hope it's Bayern), I really am happy for Torres. The amount of stick he gets, pathetic bandwagoning.

Torres always reminds me of this quote....

“I can’t promise them (Kasabian) I would sign for Leicester City because I need to be playing for the highest honours. But let’s get a box there, get some nice food and have a drink. That would be lots of fun."

Why is Torres getting all the glory when Chelsea were through anyway by the time he scored.

Ramires should be getting the credit!

Hmmm I know what you mean, but as it stood before Torres scored, Barca needed a goal to go through, his goal cemented the place in the final. Plus he's had a such a torrid time since joining Chelsea it was nice to see him get an important goal against a top side.

If it was messi that scored his goal it would of been goal of the season! Both of Chelsea's goal were world class the amount of pressure on Torres was unbelievable, 90,000 fans willing you to miss it just shows how good of player he is, something like that could kick start his chelsea career and he has probably just secured his euros spot for Spain.

Was anyone watching sky sports news at the time of Torres' goal. Ray Parlour was commenting and I thought I heard him say Messi was one on one with the keeper.

Could be wrong, anyone???

Give it a rest. I'm getting fvcking sick of this line every time someones scores a goal. No it wouldn't, stop being a sheep.

Suppose so. I feel a bit for Ramires though. He's getting no attention at all!

I really, really wish people would stop saying this.

Because that makes a better story, papaers only care about what sells, and all this stuff about 50M for a consolation that didn't actually have any significance other than eat up a minute of time is just crap.

Decent goal, fair play Torres, but lets be honest any of our strikers would score if one on one with a keeper with that much time and space.

And he gave the ball away initially and was only up the pitch because he was trying to win it back.

Ramires deserves all the credit because he gave them something to hold on to when it looked like they were dead and buried, and that was an awesome finish.

If Torres wants his £50m moment, score the winner in the final.

And more than that, I reckon. That will go some way to paying back £50m, but to do it on a regular basis would show that he has still got it in himself to perform. Perhaps a last-minute winner, an actual winning goal (!) against Liverpool in the FA Cup final will add some more to redemption!

I think people who appreciate football are giving him his dues. He was phenomenal over both legs, especially last night, what an engine! I think he stood out above the rest, just. Drogba, Lampard, Ivanovic, Cole, and Ramires and Mikel put in incredible shifts for me, not to take away from any of the rest.

I think Ramires is one of my favourite players in the game at the moment. He's so under-appreciated as well, he's been brilliant all season. Last night's goal actually had me cheering, I don't even have any connection to Chelsea, he's just brilliant.

Torres' goal was good too like. I want to know what odds you could get on him bagging the winner in both finals, FA Cup and CL. That'd be interesting.
