TrentFox Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 Karl Robinson was crying and looked like he was waving goodbye to the Milton Keynes fans. Brave man walking back through the Huddersfield fans, shaking their hands. Fair play. Pleased for Huddersfield though, and pleased for Grayson. Hope they beat Sheffield United. Thought he came out of the night with enormous credit - he cajoled and encouraged every ounce out of his team, (who played fabulous football), and he was a model professional post-match. Went up a long way in my opinion tonight.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 Think Huddersfeild and Blackpool will win, Cheltnham were impressive the other night.
Soar Fox Posted 16 May 2012 Posted 16 May 2012 Did anyone see Alan smith get beat up by Huddersfield fans during the pitch invasion?
Matt Posted 16 May 2012 Posted 16 May 2012 C'mon Southend. If Southend reach the final the 3 teams I bet on reached the final, It's a patent, so would hope i'd get some kind of return if all 3 get the final. (West Ham, Sheff Utd and Southend)
Kitchandro Posted 16 May 2012 Posted 16 May 2012 C'mon Southend. (West Ham, Sheff Utd and Southend) Not looking good at the moment. It's a good game but all I can think about is what a **** Garry Birtles is
Fox92 Posted 16 May 2012 Author Posted 16 May 2012 Robinson for villa maybe? I was thinking that. It did look like he was waving goodbye to the MK Dons' fans yesterday, and Villa have said they want a "young manager with fresh ideas". Maybe? Thought he came out of the night with enormous credit - he cajoled and encouraged every ounce out of his team, (who played fabulous football), and he was a model professional post-match. Went up a long way in my opinion tonight. Totally agree. Ashley Westwood at Crewe looks quality on the ball. Think he came through their academy. Top academy at Crewe, I think most of their current team came through the academy. I like Crewe, just like West Ham, they have developed so many good players for the game, but are not in a financial position to keep them.
Kitchandro Posted 16 May 2012 Posted 16 May 2012 Birtles has now tried to argue that the post is part of the target. You don't get goals for hitting the post Garry, you total prat.
Fox92 Posted 17 May 2012 Author Posted 17 May 2012 Did anyone see Alan smith get beat up by Huddersfield fans during the pitch invasion? Yeah.. Police are investigating now.

Fox92 Posted 17 May 2012 Author Posted 17 May 2012 idiots like that are the reason clubs try and stop pitch invasions. I know. Karl Robinson has thanked the real fans that celebrated, instead of causing trouble.
ScouseFox Posted 17 May 2012 Posted 17 May 2012 Cracking free kick. Think Beckham v Greece (but a bit less dramatic).
Fox92 Posted 18 May 2012 Author Posted 18 May 2012 Well, it's the final I wanted in League 2... Always liked Cheltenham since I went to the away game in League one where we won 0-4 (great day out) and always liked Crewe because of their fantastic academy. Great win for Cheltenham at Torquay though yesterday.
tartanowl Posted 18 May 2012 Posted 18 May 2012 That free kick last night was class. It was postage stamp and from a fair distance. Torquay should have won and missed a whole host of chances but Cheltenham were more clinical. It was a decent game for League 2 football. I'm going to go against the love in for Karl Robinson though I'm afraid. I don't normally have a pop at opposition players or managers but for him I'll make an exception. He is a bellend and I will make no apology for saying so. He has a big chip on his shoulder when it comes to us. This season he has whined about losing and been totally classless in defeat, gesticulated to our fans winding them up, threatened and put his hands on our players, and shown a huge lack of professionalism throughout. I like the way MK play he has got them playing some very attractive football, I don't mind MK as a club, I'm not one of the 'anti-Franchise' people but Robinson is an arrogant gobshite.
tartanowl Posted 18 May 2012 Posted 18 May 2012 This is one of the pictures of Robinson clenched fist when he had a pop at Reda Johnson when we played at their place. He put his hands on his throat, manhandled Reda, and after the game claimed that he went to "grab him away from Gleeson". Clearly rubbish and I don't see why he would feel the need to touch an opposition player anyway. He whines about referees after nearly every game and after the game at their place he then went over to our fans and had a pop at us as well. He has done a decent job at MK but he is a classless idiot. I can't stand him.
Leicfox Posted 18 May 2012 Posted 18 May 2012 Blackpool's Wembley song. lol http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/sport/football/blackpool-fc/download-steve-canavan-s-wembley-song-here-1-4561761
Chairman of the Bored Posted 18 May 2012 Posted 18 May 2012 I'm having a crazy notion to go see the Cheltenham vs Crewe POF. It looks like tickets are only selling via the clubs. I want to sit on the fence, naturally. Any ideas about where to get a ticket as a neutral??
Leicfox Posted 18 May 2012 Posted 18 May 2012 Leicester City will be represented tomorrow by Martinshaw Primary School at Wembley against Romilly Primary School who are represnting Cardiff City in the Npower Championship Kids Cup Final. Good luck.
ScouseFox Posted 18 May 2012 Posted 18 May 2012 Sure I've just heard on SSN Blackpool haven't sold out...? Really? I mean I'm not usually one of these "Wigan should play Park football they can't sell out every away end in the league" kind of guys, but not selling out for a Play Off final? It's not even like the allocation is huge, is it?

ScouseFox Posted 18 May 2012 Posted 18 May 2012 Blackpool isn't renowned for being a big club so selling 29,000 is about right for them their average gates are 12,000-14,000? Obviously they wouldn't sell 29k for a normal game but this is the biggest game they'll ever get to watch, at Wembley, surely they can just find some fake fans who want to jump on the bandwagon? Somewhere? It's a bit shit if "the richest game in football" has thousands of empty seats at one end of Wembley. Could've given them to West Ham.
