purpleronnie Posted 12 May 2012 Posted 12 May 2012 Wouldn't surprise me. Yet another dull, quiet playoff game....seems fans rarely get excited at the football anymore.
Guest Bilo Posted 12 May 2012 Posted 12 May 2012 MK Dons is the worst away day I've ever experienced, in spite of the high quality stadium. Appalling atmosphere, poor sightlines (I thought Dyer had won a penalty when he was 25 yards out and I could barely see Fryatt's goal) and miles away from anywhere. The number of home fans with Big Four coats on and mini-kits hanging up in their cars as we drove away disgusted me as well. I'm glad they're all but out, any of the other three would be infinitely better trips.
Fox92 Posted 12 May 2012 Author Posted 12 May 2012 Yes Crewe Hope they go up this season. Good little club, fantastic academy.
Happy Fox Posted 12 May 2012 Posted 12 May 2012 Crewe impressed me, very tidy outfit particularly liked the look of Byron Moore and Tootle.
marko Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Looks a fairly poor turnout at Bramall Lane tonight. I'm surprised.
AjcW Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Not even selling out for a play off semi second leg = Come on stevenage!!!!
Kitchandro Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Poor attendance, terrible atmosphere. Very strange. Maybe they heard Coventry are hosting olympic football and are trying to emulate them. Seriously though, very surprised.
leicesterisme Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Stevenage's tickets for the away end were 14 quid for tonight, so I'd imagine United's pricing for the home end was very similar, strange that there's loads of empty seats.
Kitchandro Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Playoffs have been crap so far this year Agreed. Not just the quality of matches but the atmospheres in general. Weird.
purpleronnie Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Definately, I look forward to the playoffs because they usually have an intensity on and off the field, every game I've seen just comes across as an normal league game. Maybe its just a result of the modern football fan but it seems to be quite a dramatic change.

THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 I hate any team in red and white stripes, including Sheff United. Fcuk off

AjcW Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 I think its a lot to do with the ridiculous financial reward making teams cagey.
MC Prussian Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 That's it for Stevenage then. One good cross into the box and it's 1-0 Sheffield United.
EcclesallOwl Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Absolutely brilliant sitting back and watching United in the play offs. Pitiful attendance. They deserved to win though, both teams have been awful but United have been the better. They'll get mullered in the final though
Kitchandro Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Another pitch invasion....you'd think they hadn't been there for 50 years or something. 'Woo we beat Stevenage!' And they play black eyed peas too
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Awful atmosphere, but now a pretty good pitch invasion. Strange cnuts Yay! Black eyed peas
Soar Fox Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 lol the stevange goalkeeper still standing in the 18 yard box because of the pitch invasion.
Corky Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Switched off after Hill's 30-yard screamer nearly went in. Missed the main action it seems.
Libertine Dream Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Awful atmosphere, but now a pretty good pitch invasion. Strange cnuts Yay! Black eyed peas All 3 of them that were there
General Smuts Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 On the end of another pitch invasion from a team in red and white. Horrific. Massive respect for the 900 Boro fans out singing the home fans all game and all the players staying out on the pitch after the game. 'Ched Evans touched me I want to go home'
