MC Prussian Posted 7 May 2012 Posted 7 May 2012 Hmmm... Luton or York back in the Football League? Luton have the history, York the better fans.
AdamN Posted 7 May 2012 Posted 7 May 2012 Luton deserve nothing less than a thrashing after their behaviour against York a couple of seasons ago.
ousefox Posted 7 May 2012 Posted 7 May 2012 Yep, ****ing hate Luton. Couldn't think of a better team to see York beat at Wembley, not sure the atmosphere outside the ground will be nice mind.
Guest Bilo Posted 7 May 2012 Posted 7 May 2012 Would love to see York back in the Football League, a proper club and potentially outstanding trip in one of the cups.
ousefox Posted 7 May 2012 Posted 7 May 2012 Would love to see York back in the Football League, a proper club and potentially outstanding trip in one of the cups. If we manage to get them before they move to a bowl
Corky Posted 7 May 2012 Posted 7 May 2012 Why not Sheffield United tartan? Danny Wilson connection obviously
tartanowl Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 Why not Sheffield United tartan? Danny Wilson connection obviously Nah I don't mind Agent Wilson. Seriously though up until a few years ago mate I would have happily said the Blades. I live and work next to Blades and a fair number of my mates support United too. For their sake and to have the opportunity play the derby matches I would have liked them to go up with us. I'm a level headed guy, we are all from the same city, there are bigger and more important things in life than football rivalry, and there's no point in hating someone for supporting another club. Unfortunately my dislike for them as a club has grown massively in recent years under their current regime. I just can't bring myself to want them to succeed. In recent years they have: Sued Worksop Town a local non-league club for £3k for their 'share' of receipt money for a pre-season benefit game. Whinged about Tevez relegating them from the Prem when it was their incompetence and inability to beat Wigan on the last day and their failure to protect a 10 point gap that sent them down. Disgraced the city by dragging football into the courts for the above and marching on London demanding 'Fairness in Football'. Claimed that the authorities are out to get them and that they don't get a fair deal. Whinged when our ground (which is better) was chosen over their place to host Sheffield's bid for the World Cup. Tried to take Sheffield Council to court for making the above decision. Celebrated when the World Cup bid then failed because Bramall Lane wasn't chosen. That and they still employ and pay the wages of a convicted rapist. I don't think either side should be in the 3rd Division but for the above reasons I would happily see their chairman and the club suffer for a bit. Nothing ever seems to be their fault and they can never accept their own shortcomings. Some of my Blades supporting mates are in pieces at the moment and completely embarrassed about the goings on at their club. It's not surprising!
Hollism Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 Want West Ham to go up to make our lives easier next season. Also, to be honest, they deserve it more than the other 3. I want Stevenage to go up for a few reasons. Mainly that they could be on for 3 successive promotions from the Conference to the Championship which is very impressive. Also on FIFA 11 last year, they were one of the worst teams in England so I played with them to make it a challenge (got them into the CL final and lost to Lille ). So I got to know the team a little bit and have looked out for their results since. And as someone already mentioned, Stevenage would be a cracking away day next year. C'mon The Boro!!
Finnegan Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 Ridiculously harsh on Wrexham, finished the league miles and miles ahead of Luton. Oh well, that's the cost of not turning up on the day.
Tielemans63 Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 I hope all the teams that finished 3rd go up. Simples.
tartanowl Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 Ridiculously harsh on Wrexham, finished the league miles and miles ahead of Luton. Oh well, that's the cost of not turning up on the day. United were the highest scorers in the football league this season and they got 90 points which is the equal record amount for a club to get and not be promoted. It will be very harsh but equally hilarious if they do not go up.
MrSpaM Posted 9 May 2012 Posted 9 May 2012 Anyone but west ham I'll take ****ing hate them. I only voted for them because i'd like them out the league basically
