May have been done already but I've no idea what the thread would be called so can't search for it. Who do you know on Foxestalk and how do you know them? (I don't expect people to disclose real names) I'll start... I have never knowingly met another FT poster in the flesh
The People's Hero Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 I've met quite a few - but they will all be the 'older' faces if you like who have been around the old OS boards, then here up to about 3 or 4 years ago. So I've met quite a few. If you see a Leicester fan (usually at an away game) sporting a floral shirt, probably some tweed and at least half drunk - that's me.

Sure I've met TPH - you don't forget floral shirts easily. My real name is known now partly through other things that I do. I won't give out Tel phone numbers or bank details though. (some shifty types on here ) The ones I have met may have been in somewhere like the Counting House before a game but I have not been down for a few years

Finnegan Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 As with TPH, I've met a lot of people from Foxes Talk but I didn't know anyone here pre-forum. Haven't attended a meet in ages though, so don't know a lot of the new crowd. Alarmingly I've still never met James and I'd like to one day have a drink with Bilo and Foxy but that's about it. I saw Fez and Kateh for a bit of a chat in C2 before a game a couple of months ago and Sparky occasionally honks at me on his way to work!

cambridgefox Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 living in the wilds,wouldnt get much of a chance to meet up,but when i travel to away games,being a sociable chap(nosey)i do ask if they come on the forum.Did meet up with Steveherbe at an away match with his lads, as we had put our rows and seat numbers in the ticket forum and he was the row behind seemed a good bloke. Do often mention if i go to aways to say hello,being a lone Leicester fan to games i feel like a right blly no mates!!

I do believe the reason Foxy lives overseas is so this drink doesn't happen

Joe_B used to play for my Sunday league team till he threw a wobbler and got kicked out, BillyVelvetone is the assistant manager of said team. Unsure if he still posts/reads the forum at all though Probabalt know a few more I'm forgetting

stourbridgefox Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 I don't know anyone on here. As I live away from Leicester, it is a substitute for knowing people for real who I can rabbit on about football to. I know many Wolves and WBA fans and I know a fair bit about their clubs now, so I can chat with them. No-one round here really knows anything about Leicester though.
