This place is a way of keeping up a habit I got stuck with when I was at Uni. I stick around these days mostly because I think you get a really interesting range of people on here, especially in General chat. When I take over the Conservative party leadership in another decade or so, I figure this will serve me in good stead.

See Lisa quite often in our pre match pub where I try not to impale her or her other half when I attempt to play darts.... Met Bilo a good few times along with 1964Fox and his lovely lady (two of the biggest football nuts you could ever hope to meet) I'm sure there are others too but I'm getting on a bit now, my memory isn't what it used to be. I'd be up for meeting new people and putting a face to a name

Have met Head Honcho (he had a spare ticket for QPR last season, bought it off him. Met Ric Flair at the same time, too who was with HH). Went to a pub, can't remember which one, but I'm sure there would have been other FTers around then! Got quite a few on Facebook/Twitter, but other than that not met anyone else.

You pop up occasionally on my Facebook "people you may know" because you're friends with Smuts, Libs and Kateh. I recognized it as you because, with the greatest respect, there aren't many young Asian FTers and I'm pretty sure you were on Countdown once with your picture all over FT. More strangely, a guy I work with has several FTers as mutual friends and I'm wondering if he's on here. But I'm keeping my gob shut on that one!

If it's any consolation, the first two parts of that equation are REGULARLY called out for their suspiciously north-of-the-border sympathies. Besides which, weasel is usually rendered wholly insensible after two pints anyway.
