ScouseFox Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Any team with Karl Henry in could get relegated 19 times in a row and I still wouldn't feel sorry for them in the slightest.
Corky Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Wolves have a very decent squad, no way should they be second bottom. Unbelievable drop.
z-layrex Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Wolves have a very decent squad, no way should they be second bottom. Unbelievable drop. I've long given up trying to understand this league.
Guest Bilo Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Wolves have a very decent squad, no way should they be second bottom. Unbelievable drop. They'll be broken up to buggery after Saturday. Some agents are going to make a lot of money out of their demise.
Guesty Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Roger Johnson sounds like a **** as well. Apparently when he was at Birmingham he told other players relegation didn't matter as he was moving on. When he joined Wolves he said in the press he'd joined them because they were best for his England career. Looks like 3 relegation's on the bounce now.
Leicfox Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Peterborough winning 1-0 atm which makes Millwall's game against Palace on Tuesday a must win for both sides.

Apparently on the pop the day before Birmingham were relegated at Spurs and turned up drunk at training with Wolves.
iamafox Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Saunders made a huge mistake in leaving Donny for Wolves, they've bounced back to the Championship first time of asking and yet his own club could go down. Wise move Dean, wise move.
Guest Bilo Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Saunders made a huge mistake in leaving Donny for Wolves, they've bounced back to the Championship first time of asking and yet his own club could go down. Wise move Dean, wise move. The irony is he took Doncaster down last season as well. O'Driscoll got the sack with them having half a chance of staying up, then Saunders came in and they just imploded. His Championship credentials aren't up to scratch.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 There have been 3 pitch invasions in the Championship today and none of the teams involved are safe yet! (Barnsley, Wolves, Peterborough)
ADK Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 It all went wrong for Wolves when they sacked Mick McCarty while still having a decent chance of remaining in the premiership and replaced him with his inexperienced assistant after the transfer window had shut. Completely bizarre move. McCarthy has taken an Ipswich side that looked in disarray and transformed them into a solid mid table outfit while Wolves will enjoy third tier football next season.
Fox92 Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Agreed. They shouldn't have got rid of McCarthy. And he will have Ipswich around the play offs next season, no doubt.
Kitchandro Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 I could sort of understand why they got rid of Mick at the time, but their appointments since have been really, really shocking. No idea what they saw in any of them. And to think they won 7 out of their first 10 games.

O'Driscoll got the sack with them having half a chance of staying up, then Saunders came in and they just imploded. His Championship credentials aren't up to scratch. And before Saunders came he was managing Wrexham in the Conference. As good a player he was, he's a League 1 manager at best.
EcclesallOwl Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Can't wait for this season to be over!! Horrendous season Just hope we can stay up
z-layrex Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Can't wait for this season to be over!! Horrendous season Just hope we can stay up I have a huge soft spot for wednesday, not sure why, hope you stay up and have a better next season.

Lamby Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Our playoff dream is over Before today, we hadn't conceded an away goal in 445mins
Kitchandro Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Our playoff dream is over Before today, we hadn't conceded an away goal in 445mins Imagine if all those dodgy refereeing decisions had gone your way, eh?
Lamby Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Imagine if all those dodgy refereeing decisions had gone your way, eh? If we had not conceded in the last minute against Birmingham TWICE and if we'd not let an 86th & 93rd min goals in against Sheff Wed then we'd be in the playoffs
Brainy Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 If we hadn't been on a shit run we'd have got automatic promotion.
Lamby Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Still can't complain, guaranteed top half finish in the league
