z-layrex Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 And for you Our goals were much higher than Charltons' this season. You should be very pleased with a comfortable top half finish, i'm sure your goal was to just stay up.

Grewks Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 The goal was mid table actually ah well, always easy first season back with the momentum, we got the play-offs in a league much tougher than this year and with a squad with less quality than we have now. Think you boys need some investment over the summer to be honest, and we need to re-invest some of our assets (beckford, gallagher, wellens, danns, waghorn, konch, st ledger, vardy, futacs etc) into some better and more suited short term and long term assets (cunningham, keane, tomlin, sako, ebanks-blake).
SystonFox Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 There have been 3 pitch invasions in the Championship today and none of the teams involved are safe yet! (Barnsley, Wolves, Peterborough) Tinpot
The Year Of The Fox Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 Does Redknapp still have something to do with Bournemouth? I wonder what will happen if he stays at QPR. Is there not a conflict of interest there somewhere?
Super_horns Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 Agreed. They shouldn't have got rid of McCarthy. And he will have Ipswich around the play offs next season, no doubt. The fans wanted him sacked I think..another case be careful what you wish for?

KFS Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 There are some twats at Uni who think Bournemouth are the next big thing, they're not. I can't wait 'til Bournemouth away to show them what real fans are like!
Guest Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 Get to go to Reading now, woop! First time anybody's ever been excited at that prospect
StanSP Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 Get to go to Reading now, woop! You get excited at that? What is your life?!

Guest Bilo Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 Get to go to Reading now, woop! One of the fearsome away days in the calendar. First time anybody's ever been excited at that prospect You get excited at that? What is your life?! lol The worst away day in the Football League! You actually appreciate the Ricoh Arena after a trip to the Madejski.
Lamby Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 First time anybody's ever been excited at that prospect New ground to add towards the 92
StanSP Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 There were 2 good things about going to Reading in the only time I went there - Waghorn scored in a 1-0 win. Chris Coleman got abused virtually all game. As you can see, there was nothing good about Reading itself.

I wouldn't get excited about the Madejski if I actually lived in Berkshire.
Harry - LCFC Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 Personally think the Madejski is a great stadium - for a modern one that is. I really like how steep the stands are, makes it feel bigger than it really is.

I wouldn't get excited about the Madejski if I actually lived in Berkshire. I'd much prefer Brentford to come up than anyone else. I'd also love to go there. They're getting a new stadium so I don't really want to miss the chance to see Leicester play at the only stadium to have a pub on the corner of each stand.
z-layrex Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 Is Reading not a good night out then? I had a night out there 7 years ago, but can't really remember anything about it, which probably answers my question...

Ive been lodging there for two weeks and found it shit, though that obviously wasn't a Friday or Saturday night
