lol you're currently conducting the stealthiest form of buying promotion I've ever seen.

Well yes it is unsual...but then without the Pozzo take-over we'd still be run by a bankrupt owners who took money from the club...having started the season with -10.

Its not the most ideal way to run a club but we didn't have a lot of choice.

It doesn't seem a great way to do things as there's no longevity in it. If Watford are promoted and Udinese are seriously impressed by the contribution of the loanees, they'll be called back and put in the first team quicker than they say arrivederci.

That is a fair point..I am surprised Undinese don't want Vydra or Adbi unless the Pozzos just tell the management who to let go out on loan....

Must admit wouldn't be shocked if those 2 aren't with us for long as clubs will make offers for them - ie Premiership teams.

So we aren't still playing Kasper, Konchesky, Nugent, St Ledger and whoever else? You can't really discount Sven's signings when they're still an integral part of Pearson's set up.

And it's not just about transfer fees, is it? How much do you think we're paying out in wages to our players and to agents to secure all these signings, even under Pearson? (Under a million for Knockaert, by the way, you sure?)

:Look, any fan of Cardiff, Forest, Blackburn, etc, who wants to come on here complaining about 'money bags Leicester' is a moron and a hypocrite. We're all throwing cash around, who's totaling the highest eight figure transfer budget over the last six months is irrelevant, we've all got the clout to buy the league and don't even get me started on Watford.

Fair enough, but my problem comes with the fans of other teams who think we're still "big spending" Leicester when we should surely be known as "cutting back on the stupid spending" Leicester - especially Cardiff fans of all people! :D But I guess that doesn't have the same ring to it.

But it's the same owners. They obviously see all three clubs as one footballing empire, you suggest there's no longevity in it but if they get Watford to the Prem then they might just start moving the better players there full time and making their English team the "leading" franchise in their chain.

It's utterly bizarre.

Are Watford ever really going to be as successful as Udinese though? I certainly don't see them ever making the Champions League as Udinese have over the past two seasons, so they're only ever likely to be an outpost of the empire as it were. Serie A may not enjoy quite the same exposure as the BPL but a UCL Italian side will always be a more attractive prospect than BPL strugglers, as Watford are likely to be.

There might be a situation where all Udinese's young 'uns are farmed out to Watford on loan to see if they handle the top level, but I don't foresee any situation where a truly outstanding talent stays at Vicarage Road.

The world would rejoice. Almost a shame we won't.

You're just another small club having your time in the spot light, a bit like Blackpool, although they didn't have to spend ridiculous amounts of money to get promoted.

Won't be long until you're back to struggling in the Championship (pretty much like we're doing now :D )

What price relegation for Forest?

Someone needs to stop Vydra, quickly.

Big 3 points for us today but Charlton really should have had 6 penalties and scored 10. Hard lines Lamby.

And the 17 goals that crossed the line but weren't given by the lino.

The rivalry between Wednesday and Charlton gets that little bit more ugly.

You couldn't have upset him more if you gave him a job.

125/1 apparently.

Worth a couple of quid?

Moving away from what would be the height of hilarity on May 4th, Wolves are a huge price at 20/1. They're an absolute car crash at the moment and sinking like a stone.

Watford looking very handy at 9/4 for promotion. Listened to some of the commentary v the Trees today and they should have won by 6 or 7. Playing teams off the park most weeks and have been since November. Our last home game against them could be absolutely massive
