MC Prussian Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Birmingham City are forced to sell many of their senior players due to financial constraints: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21126539

BHAFC Braders Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Blackburn away tonight , heading off in a bit - looks like it's on at least , still reckon there was something fishy about the postponement just before Christmas.
rico Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 yeah,Blackburn wanted to make sure that they had the right quality of shit manager in charge
Guest Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Blackburn away tonight , heading off in a bit - looks like it's on at least , still reckon there was something fishy about the postponement just before Christmas. decent point there Braders.
Out Foxed Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Blackburn away tonight , heading off in a bit - looks like it's on at least , still reckon there was something fishy about the postponement just before Christmas. cardiff did it to us a few years back (or last season)
dogadug Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Blackburn away tonight , heading off in a bit - looks like it's on at least , still reckon there was something fishy about the postponement just before Christmas. 7th minute of injury time goal, that must have made the journey worthwhile! Why so much added on time?
BHAFC Braders Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Just got back, AGAIN we let them play their game (which turned out to be rugby , reason the match had so much added on time - either one of ours or theirs was on the floor every five minutes) and created nothing in the first half We gave away a stupid penalty , They gave away a stupid penalty - it was a nothing game really , not sure if the players were making sure they were involved on Saturday , or all this stuff behind the scenes (which isn't sounding promising) is playing a part but the great start we've had to 2013 is starting to wobble I should really go to bed.
EcclesallOwl Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Talk about tinpot.. Charlton are appealing for volunteers to help clear snow from around The Valley in a bid to ensure that Saturday’s match against the Owls (3.00pm) goes ahead. An estimated 110 tonnes of snow currently lie on the pitch following the recent winter weather. This will need to be cleared before the weekend, but as much of a problem for the Addicks is the ice and snow around the ground in walkways, terraces, stairs and the West Stand car park. The club is therefore appealing for any supporters keen to assist staff to clear the affected areas to report to the stadium at 9.00am on Wednesday. Head of operations Mick Everett said: “Given the current situation around the ground, and the weather forecast for the rest of the week, we have some concerns about whether the game will go ahead. “We are implementing a number of measures to do our utmost to try to play the game, but the amount of snow that has fallen, coupled with the sustained freezing conditions and the forecast, are a nasty combination. “Because the snow that has fallen on the pitch is providing some insulation to the surface, our priority at the moment is to clear the terraces and various walkways of snow and ice to ensure the safety of fans, so we’re asking for any supporters able to assist to come to The Valley on Wednesday.†Sheffield Wednesday will keep supporters updated as and when is necessary.
Ric Flair Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 The lazy bastards could have started clearing it themselves, it's not snowed in London since Sunday morning. Blackburn and Brighton both get an obscene amount of penalties!
goose2010 Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 i love how they have predicted how much snow is on the pitch, why they were working that out they could of cleared half of it! surely most clubs have covers these days?? I would be surprised it they get that on for Saturday!
StanSP Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Probably would have been better to put the covers on first. Ah well, good job!
Lamby Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Probably would have been better to put the covers on first. Ah well, good job! Put the covers on and have the snow on top of the covers? Whats the sense in that
The People's Hero Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Put the covers on and have the snow on top of the covers? Whats the sense in that Are you serious?
Corky Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Put the covers on and have the snow on top of the covers? Whats the sense in that Why don't they just put a roof on the stadium?
