Amazed that Millwall chosen to let Henderson go after selling Wood beside Forest already got Sharp and Cox!

Sharp is only on loan though, plus they are both similar strikers. Henderson is a good option for them to have. They can play Cox behind the 2 if they wanted to play all 3 as well

Well we're widely reported as doing so which depending on what you consider to be 'buying' the league is or isn't true. Whereas you guys seem to get by with hardly any reporting of significant spending.

Not saying that we haven't spent a bit but the offloading of high wage earners etc. doesn't get reported nearly as often and often transfer fees with us seem to be radically inflated

Oh, that's good, because you lost 15.2m pounds in your last accounts, more than Cardiff have ever lost. Glad to see you got that under control whilst maintaining the core of your first team. Rather miraculous, I must say. Congratulations on now being self-sustaining.

You're a good wum, I'll give you that, but if you look at the Pearson era signings (Morgan - 1.125m, Marshall - 1.1m, Drinkwater - 0.9m, De Laet - 1.125m, Wood 1m, Knockaert - 0.9m, Whitbread - 0m, Vardy - 1m, James - 1.25m & Futacs - 0m [and Nuge on a free or was that a Sven signing?]) for a total of 8.7m, compared with the offloads (Mills - 2.25m, Bamba - 0.9m(?!), Peltier (0.75m), the loans of Danns & Beckford, and the departures of Vassell, Paintsil, Weale, Howard & Tunchev) for a total of 3.9m, leaves us with 4.8m in the red minus whatever we've saved on wages since Pearson came in.

That's the Pearson era which stretches back into last season. Looking at Cardiff's transfer business this season:

IN: Campbell - 0.75m, Maynard - 3.15m, Noone - 1.26m, Smith - 0.38m, Connolly - 0.635m, Bo-Kyung - 3m, Velikonja - 2m, Mutch - 1.25m, Kiss - 0.63m, Lewis - 0m, Helguson - 0m, Bellamy - 0m = 13.37m

OUT: Blake - 0.5m, Gerrard - 0.45m, Miller - 0.64m + a load of frees = 1.59m = 11.78 in the red + whatever extra you're spending in wages on the likes of Bellamy & Helguson.

Had you come on here saying that in the Sven era we'd have had to hold our hands up and say fair cop, but to suggest that we're on similar spending terms now is frankly insulting and indicative of the poor information dispersed by media outlets and readily gobbled up by the clueless masses.

I am hardly a wind-up merchant. It was claimed Cardiff are buying the league and I only countered by stating that your team is doing similar. It's hardly a shock that the two biggest spending long-term Championship clubs of recent times are currently first and second. You're up there because of Thai baht just like we are because of Malaysian ringgit. We have spent more, hence why we're ten points clear of you, but you'll be promoted for the same reason all the same. To be honest, I find it all rather sad, but there you go.

As for the "largely reliable" Transfermarkt website, that states we got paid 640,000 by Vancouver to take Kenny Miller off our hands: ha!

So we aren't still playing Kasper, Konchesky, Nugent, St Ledger and whoever else? You can't really discount Sven's signings when they're still an integral part of Pearson's set up.

And it's not just about transfer fees, is it? How much do you think we're paying out in wages to our players and to agents to secure all these signings, even under Pearson? (Under a million for Knockaert, by the way, you sure?)

All teams are under pressure to go up and spend money from their fans really...

Wel all say players are paid too much etc but as soon as results go wrong the call goes out crying about a "lack ambition"

I don't think we are "buying the league" though...more like trying to take advantage of the loan system through our new owners although we certainly field our fair share of "home players"

Supposed to be signing a few of the loan players too if we can.
