I'm over in Whitwick and the rain today has been probably the worst I've ever seen.

My front garden flooded within 10 minutes of the start of the deluge and it was no more than an inch from coming in and flooding my house.

What on earth is going on?

I've seen worse rain, but I've never seen it go so dark in the day. The sky started swirling briefly like in Independence Day, so I was glad when it just started to rain, with no alien invasion or worse, Will Smith
