TrentFox Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 Now that is a statement of intent ! Favourite according to Sky News ! A difficult division just got a fraction tougher.
Craig Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 Not sure what part of 'not interested' makes him favourite...
TrentFox Posted 12 July 2012 Author Posted 12 July 2012 Not sure what part of 'not interested' makes him favourite... Is that what he said ? Just heard in the background that he was now favourite to take it. Sky are usually pretty good at not going with statements like that unless there's a lot of truth in it, but I haven't heard what you heard.
m00nie Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 someone posted earlier in the other thread that he wasnt interested..
TrentFox Posted 12 July 2012 Author Posted 12 July 2012 Bugger ! Thought I'd heard some news ahead of everyone else having just got home ! Someone please delete thread if it's already been ruled out . Apologies one and all.
Happy Fox Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 Redknapp denied he was getting sacked from Spurs he did though didn't he? He is cunning if the Kuwaties offer big bucks he may take the job, though I suspect Sven may be attracted to the money.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 Would love it if it was true, just to see all the posters on here currently writing it off! Why couldnt it be true when we managed to get sven? I think our fans are just worried/jealous in case they did get a big name manager and actually managed to do what we didnt do! Get promoted!

He is cunning if the Kuwaties offer big bucks he may take the job, though I suspect Sven may be attracted to the money. Ollie Holt from the Mirror tweeted earlier about meeting Sven in a hotel and Sven said he was heading to China to take over as a chairman somewhere, i'll find the tweet again Oliver Holt â€@OllieHoltMirror Bumped into Sven Goran Eriksson at a London hotel. He's preparing for conquest of China with new club. "Not as coach but chairman," he said

He loved whoring himself around for a bit of dollar. Redknapp won't go there, and I'm not sure why any Leicester fan would 'love' him to...
TrentFox Posted 12 July 2012 Author Posted 12 July 2012 That botox Harry's using is working a treat ! He just needs to finish eating that squirrel, though !

Guest MattP Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 Sven as a chairman lol What credentials does he have for this? Imagine him in charge of a clubs finances. Redknapp won't go to Forest, driveway out of the car park isn't big enough.
davieG Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 He turned us down post MON when we were top 10 PL, having accepted the job he decided on the way home to the south coast he didn't want to move this far north so I doubt being 10 years older he'd now choose to go to a Championship side even further north.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 Why would you want Redknapp at that lot? To shut our fans who think we can only get a big named manager in up! Plus I dont care for them either way
Happy Fox Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 Wasn't McClaren a big name look how that worked out for them big name managers very rarely work in the championship, if F****t go down that route well FFP is going to be kind to them point deductions embargos etc
Asha Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 Sven managed County before us. He loved whoring himself around for a bit of dollar. As far as I'm aware he wasn't actually manager, he was director of football. Ian McParland was manager.

I knew it wouldn't work out for McClaren, keeping Billy Davies was the better option, I said it then.

Fox92 Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 You should be a chairman You really sound like you know what you'd be doing Only highlighting the obvious, and what I said previously. No need to be sarcastic really.
Corky Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 Redknapp is twice the manager McClaren is. I knew it wouldn't work out for McClaren, keeping Billy Davies was the better option, I said it then. Despite McClaren winning more major trophies in his career, in different countries too?
