Tour of the nou camp

Has anybody ever been on a tour of the nou camp?

Heading out to Spain next week and staying at a place around 30minutes from Barcelona, was looking into maybe having a tour of the stadium.

Is it worth the money? How often do they run the tours etc? Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

I went there to do a tour but the cabby who drove me down to the Nou Camp told me there was a match on that night so i brought a ticket to see them play AC Milan in some friendly cup match. Much better than a tour.

Great place well worth it.

I went more than 20 years ago to the Nou Camp. Not sure they did a guided tour in those days. Me & my mate did our own tour of the ground. Made my way onto the pitch & was swiftly chased off the pitch. A fantastic stadium & nothing like any I have been to before. I didn't see a match, but would imagine a fantastic atmosphere when it's full.

Been Barcelona a couple of times. Great city!!

Went for a tour in March with a couple of friends. €20 each to get in, but it's not a tour where you have to follow someone and they speak. You can wander round at your own leisure. The only places that where a no go area are onto the pitch and into the home dressing room. We also had a photo of us holding the champions league trophy that you then can purchase at the end of the tour to buy the photo prices started at €9. Also when you are walking out of the tunnel they play the music that they walk out to on match days.

No different to other stadiums tours to be fair so if time is at a premium I'd do something else, but if you wanna say you've been there then obviously go.

If you have time, go to Mount Tibidabo. Always top of my list in Barcelona.

I believe I have. Also been Madrid so cant remember which one. Prety sure I went to a game. Bought a scarf too. If I remember right they were playing We Are The Champions during the tour.

Socceroofox,

the game you went to did they drape a massive catalan flag accross the pitch before kick off?

I went to a game there a few years ago against AC Milan in a cup game, they introduced Ronaldhinio to the fans before kick off as they had just signed him.

I went a few years ago, expected more to be honest. But when I went the pitch was being relaid they had diggers etc all over the pitch area, which ruined it a bit.

Went to see a match there a few years ago and of all the games to see it was 0-0!

Amazing place though, and the tour was pretty good, what a great history they have!

Went to Barcelona a couple of years ago, thought it was fantastic. Barca were playing a CL game on the same day as we we went on the tour, against Rubin Kazan, the tickets were only €15 for me and about €20 for adults, iirc they lost 2-1 lol but just being there on a Champions League night and watching Messi, Xavi and iniesta play was brilliant.

Well worth it imo.

Gorgeous city, though Las Ramblas smells like drains, and you get attacked by hookers at night lol. Id still go again, thoroughly loved it.

That was the one Barca fans chanting Ronaldhinos name even tho he was playing for AC Milan. Ronaldhino was in the barca team photo. Have a lot of respect for Barca fans after that night over 90,000 truly appreciative and fun fans. Think Barca won the match on penalities by memory and the game finished 1 all.

Loved Barca, great night clubs and Sangria and San Miguel on roof top bars heaven.

Been twice myself, the first time was the first game after the World Club Championship where they actually were reigning champions of every trophy they could possibly win and they had them all on display together in the museum - now that was awesome. Also saw the only home game they failed to win that season too, 1-1 with Villarreal and Messi was bloody rested! Second time I went, the museum had been revamped but is still well worth going to in my opinion. Saw a 5-0 demolition of Sevilla that time. The other thing with the museum entry is that you get to go out into the stadium at various points including pitchside (through the tunnel to the dugouts), corporate, commentary box etc all with different but awesome views. So I'd say it's well worth it.

Nou Camp is amazing... and quite scary if you don't like heights! Even my wife was impressed and she doesn't really care about football!

Wasnt that impressed by Barca the city, ton of pickpockets and people trying to sell you weed. The cathedral isnt finished and the beach is artificial. Then again i'm not really a city person.
