Dan Posted 3 August 2012 Author Posted 3 August 2012 However through working 40+ hours this week already anything more than two lines and my brain switches off. You'd make a great LCFC chant creator.
Leicesterpool Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Even if there's trouble that's what the police is for! The morons have spoiled it for the rest of us, I wasn't going anyway but I can't see why it isn't fair!
gw_leics772 Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Ditto = dull as shit - good job the marker didnt put tl:dr at the end ;o) But seriously, thanks for your input. Just off now to post on every thread letting people know that i cant be arsed to read any of the thread. should make interesting reading for everyone.
Dan Posted 3 August 2012 Author Posted 3 August 2012 Oh and as for the reason it was called off, I've heard a bit of info as to why on myself, which makes a fractional bit more sense than before but still a very bad decision. Just not sure I should put it publicly on here but it's nothing huge.
AoWW Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Even if there's trouble that's what the police is for! One of these days you'll engage your brain before you post and the whole forum will collectively die of shock!
Langley Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 You'd make a great LCFC chant creator. Thanks. I thinki should quit the day job and do that
Dan Posted 3 August 2012 Author Posted 3 August 2012 It's also worth noting that Grimsby v Hull went on about a week ago. Now if I'm not mistaken, Grimsby surely would have the same police force? Being in Lincolnshire? That's surely more hazardous than Lincoln v Leicester.

Leicfox Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 It's all Leeds fault. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-18965193
Leicesterpool Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Match going to be played behind closed doors!?
Langley Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Is it because they can't deal with the fights between the two sets of supporters claiming the LCFC rights?
1964FOX Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Tease! Sorry but it's not appropriate for an open forum, there's load still going apparently anyway.
Larry_LCFC Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 It's also worth noting that Grimsby v Hull went on about a week ago. Now if I'm not mistaken, Grimsby surely would have the same police force? Sorry to be the one to burst your bubble but grimsby for some reason is policed by humberside which actually has a decent amount of officers.
Foxes_Trust Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 The Foxes Trust has reported this late cancellation to the Football Supporters Federation and asked them to investigate
Dan Posted 3 August 2012 Author Posted 3 August 2012 No don't mate. Nah not worth it. It's not concrete either.
Simmo86 Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Oh and as for the reason it was called off, I've heard a bit of info as to why on myself, which makes a fractional bit more sense than before but still a very bad decision. Just not sure I should put it publicly on here but it's nothing huge. Could you give us some clues, then we could guess rather than you tell us?
Dan Posted 3 August 2012 Author Posted 3 August 2012 Sorry to be the one to burst your bubble but grimsby for some reason is policed by humberside which actually has a decent amount of officers. I did suspect that would be the case. Could you give us some clues, then we could guess rather than you tell us? PM me if you're bothered.
Simmo86 Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 I did suspect that would be the case. PM me if you're bothered. It's ok. Can imagine the lines it's along anyway.
Leicester_Numan Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Believe it or not these tickets were ok to be re-sold (it was for the MFest) on ebay as logn as a profit wasn't made. I hadn't thought of going anyway - never been to Lincoln before! (I also didn't know Leicester were such high risk - a real shame for the majority of decent fans) We're not, we just got labelled high risk so Norwich could rob us of our rightful ticket allocation for the cup game last year. Nothing to do with us or the club if a couple of hundred knuckle dragging morons want to attach themselves to us just for the chance of a fight tomorrow. If they want to beat each other to a pulp, why don't they just organise it for a day with no football so that it doesn't involve the club or the rest of us? Don't suppose they've got the brains for that though
HEGGSY Posted 4 August 2012 Posted 4 August 2012 Was seriously looking forward to this as I couldn't make Burton on Wednesday.
goose2010 Posted 4 August 2012 Posted 4 August 2012 Having just got in from the Olympics, this surely can't be down to the amount of police in London? There's no more down there than when the Iikes of arsenal, chelsea, west ham are at home, the whole place is being ran by the army! And I must say its being done extremely well! They must of had a tip off like someone else mentioned and just bottled it.
Leicesterpool Posted 4 August 2012 Posted 4 August 2012 Like I say knowing football these days Leicester could be playing a friendly tomorrow, behind closed doors!
