The BBC iPlayer on my 42" plasma can't remember where I stopped watching the Great North Run coverage meaning I have to slowly scan through two hours of programming, one minute at a time.

The iPlayer on my iPad does allow me to skip to the right bit but it's too blurry for my tired eyes (they've had a hard day reading the shite in the LCFC forum).

I've done something to my DVD recorder thingy and now every time I turn it on the subtitles come on as default and I have to press four buttons to get rid. I can't figure out why it started or how to stop it.
