England Under 21 Call Up's

Recommended Posts

Who's giving him stick? I'm just pointing out that it's ridiculous that he's starting for the u21s ahead of Kane, Sordell and Zaha.

Rotation? looking at different options?........ :dunno:

For what it is worth Waghorn is playing 'in the hole' behind Wickham and is heavily involved in the buildup play and has had England's best effort on goal. His corners are decent too.......

Marshall looks a bit out of it on the right, looks ponderous compared to Ince on the other flank.

How is it ridiculous he's got 2 in 3 for the u21's and is playing pretty well tonight so far.

England are plating a lot of long stuff up to Wickham with Waghorn and Ince looking for the second ball, Marshall seems to have gone missing.

Because he's not played well for 2 seasons, and for him to be anywhere near the England u21s is, for me, bizarre. Do you think the German or Spanish u21s, or any of the big European countries, are starting a striker in a competitive game that has been off form for two seasons and isn't getting anywhere near the first team of a club in the second division?

Waghorn is going backwards at the moment and, despite his goals against the mighty forces that are Azerbaijan (ranked 107th) and Israel (ranked 75th), other and better English prospects should be starting ahead of him.

That Jack Wilshire has been off form for a season too hope, he never plays for England again.

Poor second half, lots of hoof.......

Waghorn virtually playing in midfield, Pearce looks to have settled for a 1-0, which has naturally enough led Norway back into the game..... :dunno:

Norway on top now, hit the woodwork when the should have scored, so fooking predictable.
