Claims that Jimmy Savile was a nonce

So, everyone at the BBC and in the celebrity world new, and nobody did a God darned thing about it. Not surprising really (especially when you hear all the rumours about many of the others).

Scum, subhuman scum.

I reckon the BBc knew something because rumours were apparently rife. My guess would be that they chose to keep it hushed up because saVILE was one of their biggest "stars" at the time and would draw huge audiences for his TV shows. The BBC couldn't afford to "out" him. I bet they breathed a huge sigh of relief when he died... only for the whole sordid situaion to re-ignite.. serves them right if they get implicated.

Vile -as Jimmy was protected by his image and fund raising and worse of all by people high up in the B.B.C. Now they are all running for cover it's going to be a lot of fun over the next few weeks.

Will be fun, hopefully the BBC come out of it as bad as Savile himself.

Yeah so then we can only watch TV with adverts!

Is anyone else thinking, these allegations are getting wilder and wilder and wilder and thinking that suddenly someone's going to leap out and say "ha ha, got you!"

For the record, I always thought he was a bit creepy and I can remember back in the 80s some story about him having a van with a mattress in the back that he used to drive around in on the pull that he called the passion wagon - allegedly.

I don't mind adverts, I can go have a piss, get a beer, send a text etc, usually it's on the planner and you wind through anyway.

I'd quite happily trade adverts for that disgraceful license fee anyway. Exortion at it's finest.

You mean the money you pay Sky or Virgin... and then they still put adverts on?

I'd rather pay the license fee.

At least it's a choice to pay your money to Sky or Virgin.

I heard today allegations of molesting a patient in a wheelchair, and another witness account of him molesting a girl with brain damage, it is just getting sicker and sicker, and I am just astounded that nobody stood up to him, or did something about it.

As for he BBC, I love it, and miss it a lot when I'm away, I don't know how this will affect them and how deep reaching these issues go, and how much more is going to come out, but the BBC will continue.

I've only heard other rumours about Freddie Starr, but he was on Sky nearly crying pleading his innocence.

Can you say which others there are rumours about or would we all get shot for saying!!

P.s Like you say there must be ALOT of guilty fcuks who covered up for the c.unt.

Hope they all feel like the c.unts they should.

Hopefully some will now have the balls to speak up about what they knew...doubt it though

That could be true, but my suspicion as to why it was kept quiet is because of fear. There are big seedy perv 'clubs' full of celeb psychos, and other psychos who can dead anybody. Jim was obviously involved with these groups and I bet that many a 'normal' celeb would have been shit scared of him and his ilk.

DEY'VE GOT ENFORCERS!

It's most likely the fear factor. The psycho clan that control the world of media, celebs and politics are worse than anything we see in a movie. That said, I still think it's bad for the soul not to speak out, and the hush brigade will be ashamed of themselves but will try to justify their silence.

I've not personally heard anything about Freddie Starr. If I ever see you before a Leicester match I'll tell you some others who are 'dodgy' and untouchable (so I've heard). Some massive household names from TV past and present. It's put me off a few of my favourite programmes and movies I tell thee! I won't say on here, and I'm not even sure if we're allowed to say if we wanted to. It's probably illegal. We can spread rumour and lies all we want about any country that we're going to bomb the crap out of, but we're not allowed to say owt about the murdering psycho pedo clans who get everybodys adulation.

This whole business makes me sick. I'm loathe to criticise the victims of his crimes but did anyone hear the woman on 5Live earlier on? She talked about witnessing (in the 70s) Saville molesting a brain-damaged girl whilst she lay on the opposite side of the ward, unable to move due to an op.

Fair enough, she couldn't intervene right there and then but she's not been lying in a bed on that ward for the last 30 years and never said anything. Yes she must have been scared but was it really worth the risk of letting him go on doing what the **** he liked to young girls? She said what she saw disgusted and disturbed her yet like so many others she did nothing to prevent it happening again or to protect future victims being abused.

I keep trying to be as sympathetic and as empathetic as I possibly can be with his victims* but it's galling and quite bizarre that no-one, not one, ever reported what happened to them. I have no doubts he was an evil bastard who frequently abused people but I just find it quite incredible how many people are coming out of the woodwork after his death - are they all genuine?

As El Empty said, makes you wonder what the **** he was threatening to do to people if he managed to keep so so many victims silent for almost half a century?

* Not criticising the victims themselves here but the decision not to say anything. Maybe I'm oversimplifying because I've never had to deal with something so devastating. Obviously I'm doing my best to think what I would do but I guess it's impossible to say.

This whole sick business shows how so many people are either too shit scared or don't have the bollox to whistle blow.

For fooks sake, this was happening in hospitals!

Why no one said anything is beyond me and demonstrates how so many people will talk after the event but not at the time.

Are people essentially pussies? Or do they just simply not think they'll be listened to?

Apparently some of the young girls even told their parents what Saville had done, who then ignored their concerns. That's their mum and dad!

For the victim, it is very difficult to say something, it is like reliving it, and then they start questioning themselves doubting themselves, wondering if it was wrong what happened, whether it was their own fault or that they deserved it or encouraged it.

Then they just want it to go away, to get repress it get rid of it, forget about it and move on.

Victims don't necessarily realise they are one of many, and that what happened was a one off or even their own fault. It is not those that were victims I an angry at, it is the witnesses that saw it and helped cover it up particularly those at the BBC that were covering their own asses.

Hundreds of people seeing something but none of them saying anything has the same kind of ring to it's as the hundreds of people who are abducted by aliens but don't get any evidence.

There might be some substance behind a few of these claims, but I would imagine the vast majority are just attention seekers and people looking for a payout.

or maybe aliens exist.

They do. I saw one raping a dog outside of my window but was tied up while engaged in a bondage session at the time so couldn't do anything, and then after that well I guess it just slipped my mind.

Sorry, but that wasn't an alien...

...but on the plus side you can add another person to the foxestalkers wot you have met thread.

Well, I'm sure Saville wasn't the only celeb from yesteryear who was involved in all of this.

I suspect Jeremy Beadle may have had a small hand in it too....

And didn't Rolf Harris do 2 little boys in the 70's?

I've heard that he wasn't a demanding bloke, his only request for his dressing room at top of the pops was fruit drinks, ideally a couple of innocent smoothies.
