Don't know how true it is as it seems out of character from Paul Merton but on the other hand, if I were talking to someone I believed to be a disgusting, old paedophile who got away scot-free, I wouldn't hold back, either.

Until the ranting at the end it reads very much like an out take from HIGNFY. Wouldn't be shocked if it happened, like I say the Merton rant at the end is seems odd, but he could be like that if angered off camera.

Actually after doing a little bit of research, it's might be fake. Savile only appeared on HIGNFY once and he wasn't on Paul's team as this transcript says he was on Ian's. Although if something similar to this happened it would explain why Savile never appeared on the show again or ever guest presented it.

He cannot answer the allegations and he cannot be charged with any crime so why should his family and the benifactors from his will be made to pay compensation?

He did a lot of work and put a lot of money into childrens' charities. Is that not a better legacy to leave behind and a better way to remember him by?

Isn't that what an acronym is? A made up word using the initial letters of a phrase or heading or list.

"Nonce" has also been explained as "Not of normal criminal element", meaning a criminal committing such offences that either disgust regular criminals, or cannot be explained by virtue of the offender's state of mind.
