Rob1742 Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Can't really see why this is needed. It just complicates things. No need for a membership scheme in my opinion.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Typical they introduce tjem after the forest game and also give uou a 4month window tp use them by

Because they're expecting a last minute rush for fans to buy expensive match day tickets as we head into the PL.
Foxfromburbage Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 They had ages to think of what to include and terms and conditions. They are not very original and doesn't entice me at all. Guaranteed membership of the 13/14 season membership - being launched - November 2013 ending March 2014 if this season is anything to go by. Anyway back to this afternoon - may we have some luck today !

Maybes Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Haha it's took them all this time to come up with that. Blimey.
Spudulike Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Can't see many finding a members day training session much of an incentive to buy one of these. Have they not worked out that many fans buy memberships because they don't live in God's own City and can't justify a season ticket due to mid-week games and travel costs ?? Hardly going to travel to a training session are they. I won't.
davieG Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 For the 5 Game Membership are you actually saving that much from Matchday Prices £115 / 5 games = 23 For Gold games the tickets vary from £22 (family / JTT): £25 (SK1/4 / A1/A2/C1/C2): £28 (G1/G2): £29 (SK2/SK3) Note that although there could be significant savings for Platinum -"LCFC reserves the right to employ a quota of members tickets for certain fixtures" Can't see many finding a members day training session much of an incentive to buy one of these. Also isn't the Barnsley game only £15? I'm going to have to think about this. I must admit the club have really pissed me off over the delay and I'm tempted to say f### it, but if we end up in the play off final this will give us some priority in buying tickets. Hmmm.

I guess the problem is they need to maintain a differentiation between these and STs which work out at £17.60 for JTT and £19.56 for SK1/4 per game. As ST holder I'd have no problem with a 5 match membership being closer to the ST prices after all it is only 5 games they're getting cheaper and they are still fans and will have good reasons for not getting a ST but then I think matchday prices are too high even compared to ST prices.

My membership last season worked out at nearly £22 per game so the difference isn't that big, but that included any 4 platinum games. If this had been available at the start of the season I'd have bought it anyway,They've just annoyed me that's all.
AoWW Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Woooohoooo! Halle-fvcking-lujah! And, no, I won't be bothering. This far into the season, they can fvck right off, especially as you can only use it on fixtures up to the 9th March. Shambles.

Might think about the 99 VIP offer as its something different but not sure, still alot of money

Agreed entirely.... just spent £100+ in the city shop, so had this been available 1 week ago I'd have had it for 20% off. As it is, I won't bother..... too late. I'll just go when I can get a ticket under £20!
Neil_LCFC Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 This is pathetic 3 months late and a worse deal than last year. I would have had a 5 game one if it could be used any game between now and the end of the season as I only do home saturdays. As it is i am forced to use them by the 9th of march which would be very doubtful there being 5 sat 3 o clock home matches as they are likely to change.. Also it is £3 per match dearer than last season and barely any saving on pay on the gate prices Can't they see people are skint we are down to 20k home fans at best despite doing well, this will attract hardly anyone to become a member.I can't believe this is the best they could come up with after all this time, clueless !
RowlattsFox Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 The only reason for me wanting to get membership is for the away priority especially if we continue to do well. Probably won't bother though as I'll only be attending a handful of away games.
Spiritwalker Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 Even though this is a shit deal I would have probably bought it in Aug or Sept but not in Nov. Is the guarantee to be accepted for next years scheme some kind of wind up?
Dr The Singh Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 Other then priority for match tickets I can't see any reason to purchase. I may purchase the entry level!!
