jamesmilner Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 kaspers distribution from kicks on the ground and out his hands usually goes straight down an oppositions massive c/b's throat or out of play , today an example . has anyone else noticed it's a way we just give the ball straight back to our opponents ? coaches need to have a word or even an in the office talk with pearson . his shot stopping and everything else i wouldnt change one iota . i like him he's a great keeper with great energy and passion for the game .
Sampson Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 Just to reiterate what I said in the other thread, I think his energy and passion are his biggest liability. Comes charging out for balls he really doesn't need too and tries to do everything far too quickly and energetically. He needs to draw back on the passion, take a deep breath at times and play more conservatively.
MattyFromLE Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 Oh my lord. Kasper this season will save us more points that he'll cost us. Stop witch hunting mate.
baronfox Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 At last someone else has noticed! I find him extremely annoying. I get the impression he likes the attention. A goalkeeper kicking a football shouldnt really get noticed or credited during or after a football match. Stick to hand work and leave the footwork to the outfield players....we all know you can kick it far Kasper!!! Just do your job!
Kitchandro Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 If he wasn't our worst footballer then I'd be worried
5waller5 Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 Jeez.... whatever next. The only thing to say about Kasper is that like every other keeper we sign he hasn;'t improved as a Leicester keeper ..... I can't remember us ever signing a keeper that was better when we sold him than when we signed him.
Sampson Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 Oh my lord. Kasper this season will save us more points that he'll cost us. Stop witch hunting mate. I honestly don't remember him saving us any points this season. He had a brilliant start to last season but I fail to see how anyone can think he's having anything but a poor season this time out.
foxesfan1989 Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 We are all looking for reasons why the team doesn't (at the moment) look good enough for promotion. But Kasper isn't that reason, he is quality...keep searching for the explanation for the recent results because he isn't it.
jamesmilner Posted 22 December 2012 Author Posted 22 December 2012 witch hunting ? not doing anything other than i seeing an improvement in his game that would benefit the team . i surprised no one else agrees . and he wasnt to blame today or even when he does it , i just posted it for comments not to slag , witch hunt , just a topic to talk about , chill .
Happy Fox Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 It is the Stowell effect and having Logan as competition, poor Kasper I feel sorry for him.
5waller5 Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 It is the Stowell effect and having Logan as competition, poor Kasper I feel sorry for him. Yep. Me Too ..... Stowell is part of the furniture now .... as is Logan thinking about it ..... Not the kind of environment that promotes success.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 It's fair to say we could do better, but we could do a lot lot lot lot worse and then there is Logan bless him
AnotherShitSeason Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 It is the Stowell effect and having Logan as competition, poor Kasper I feel sorry for him. This^^^ Another example of the shocking ineptitude & blinkered outlook at LCFC. Meanwhile the happy clappers clap on, throw confetti & wear jesters hats. #AMF
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 His distribution this season has been shit

cc_star Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 Very over-rated keeper IMO, always makes bad decisions. Comes out when he should stop & sticks when he should come out. Distribution is a liability. Best we've had for some time has made people believe he's actually good when he's done nothing that I can see to suggest he's above mid-table quality. A famous Dad generates a lot of good will for him too. Look at all the keepers we come up against who make match winning save after match winning save against us - Look at how many match winning saves Kasper makes? **** all in comparison. Thanks to the rest of the team he faces fewer shots on goal than any other keeper too
morris1234 Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 We always need a scapegoat! Get behind your team, less expectation and maybe well start scoring more? Sound stupid. Okay then how about we go out and buy...oh wait...how many years have we adopted that approach! Yeah really worked hasn't it!
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 And while we are on the subject of keepers I am getting really fed up with making our opposition keepers look good

Danizen Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 And while we are on the subject of keepers I am getting really fed up with making our opposition keepers look good Agreed. A lot of the saves Marshall made today were either straight at him or really weak.
col23 Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 People talking about kaspers kicking are a joke! Where the f**k is he meant to kick it!?!? It can only be put in an area the outfielders have to do the rest! And it not as if i see the full backs or midfielders coming short and really looking for the ball...?!?! You people have no idea about goalkeeping!

Thanks to the rest of the team he faces fewer shots on goal than any other keeper too His distribution has been poor this year and he has become a little more rash in his decision making but I still think he is the best goalkeeper in the league. Against Millwall he pulled off an unreal save in the first half and he does that often. He provides a presence that few goalkeepers have and his one on one stopping is as good as there is. If anything thing the Peter comparisons are a negative for the lad; even if he does well, he'll always being living in his dad's shadow and will always have to go that bit further to prove himself. There's a reason he was linked to Spurs and Madrid (albeit very weak rumours). He's not at that level yet but he is still young for a keeper and will be constantly learning and improving. Sums up Leicester fans; Always looking for something to moan about.
dannythefox Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 Kasper has been great for us since arriving and his only bad mistake I can really remember is the one against barnsley. However I do feel Pearson needs to tell him to roll out from the back more rather than just kicking it and it coming straight back to him or in an attack. Hes won us alot more points than he has cost us.

When he receives it it has it they turn their backs or they are marked
