Mark Venus was poor. Sarcastic chants of ' Venus for England' were often heard at Filbert Street. John Curtis would be a contender for the right back berth. Neilson was definitely worse than average, he could barely run let alone pass, I did love him though, he added a bit of comedy value in a period when we could afford it. Great game that was. The build up play for Gilberto Silva's goal was a joy to watch, Ashley Cole's tackle on Ben Thatcher, Craig Hignett's last minute equaliser.
