AyewJoking Posted 3 January 2013 Posted 3 January 2013 A thread to list and discuss transfers to and from the Premiership in the January window. Just so I dont have to stray too far from my favourite website. (delete if already done)
21st Century Fox Posted 3 January 2013 Posted 3 January 2013 Daniel Carrico > Reading £609,000 for Sporting's captain is a ridiculous bargain!
Hugo Sanchez Posted 3 January 2013 Posted 3 January 2013 Joe Cole will end up in league 1 with alan smith. Wasted talent. Could had been a real great. Chelsea fooked him.
FoxyPV Posted 3 January 2013 Posted 3 January 2013 Liverpool are paying £50k of his £80k a week salary. :xmasohmy:
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 Not a Prem move but Pato to Corinthians is such sexy business, that club literally cannot get any cooler.
Bert Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 Joe Cole will end up in league 1 with alan smith. Wasted talent. Could had been a real great. Chelsea fooked him. Cruciate knee fooked him. Just like it has Owen.
Super_horns Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 Sturridge has gone to Liverpool - last chance for him too I suspect really. Will Lampard leave now he isn't going to be given a new contract by Chelsea?
Soar Fox Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 Ezekiel Fryers > Tottenham Hotspur Strange one that. Spurs had him on trial in the summer but couldn't agree a compensation package with Man Utd. Standard Liege sign him for free due to not having to pay compensation for him, then 6 months later Spurs sign him.
foxfanazer Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 Joe Cole will end up in league 1 with alan smith. Wasted talent. Could had been a real great. Chelsea fooked him. Mourinho made him twice the player he was before he joined Chelsea imo. Cut out all the unnecessary showboating. England's best player World Cup 2006
foxfanazer Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 Oh and laugh of the day has to go to the rumour that Wesley Sneijder could be joining QPR
whitlock Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 BbcSpoof on twitter made that rumour up on purpose to see how far it would get. Good banter, it's made back page, skysports and the tv news!
Fox92 Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 Joe Cole will end up in league 1 with alan smith. Wasted talent. Could had been a real great. Chelsea fooked him. I think the injuries did that. Just like they did to the likes of Owen and Redknapp. I've always liked Joe Cole, he was a technically gifted footballer and at one point, one of England's best players. Another fantastic player developed by West Ham, but another fantastic player ruined due to injury.
AyewJoking Posted 4 January 2013 Author Posted 4 January 2013 Yes regarding Cole he was key for England and Chelsea before injury. I always thought he would end up back at West Ham some day.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 What i meant, that he could had been our messi. He was the greatest young player in this country ever. Man utd wanted him all through his youth. My mate played against him and said he was on a different planet to anyone else. Chelsea turned him into a boring winger. 29 and hes washed up.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 Cole was easily our most talented player since Gascoigne, shame that (like Scholes) he was played everywhere but his natural position to accommodate others for England. Lewis Holtby to Spurs, great business from them.

foxfanazer Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 Liverpool or Arsenal should go for Julian Draxler
foxfanazer Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 Chamakh out + Villa in= a good day for arsenal fans
