All that video above is missing is the Benny Hill theme tune.

I remember once a year or so back i was played an amazing through ball and it was a race between me and the advancing keeper. Anyway, I got there first and with a deft but skillfull press of L1 and Square, the ball was dinked over the keeper, 1-0, brilliant

Never in a competitive game, but ball came out to me in PE once in six a side goals and I just smashed it. Ball was rising until it eventually went top corner

Hey don't think it was that bad...or that good actually

it was the falling over and the ball blowing away :giggle:

I've scored a few nearly hit the crossbar too... ;)

The second lad is me.

We did one of them and uploaded it, can't find it though. Our striker slipped over and spoons it up in the air, couldn't have gone further than 5yards.

This makes me miss playing.

If we're talking about goals scored in the first O21 vs U21 FT game then I'm here to collect my award (move aside, Jamie.)

We should have a world class save thread, I made a cracking save in a O21 V U21 game

My goal kicks were awful though

Was about 14 years old, playing the regular lunchtime game of footy. Was hanging back about 25 yards out, waiting for our corner to be cleared out, and when it was, it just seemed to be in the air for fvcking ages, I ran on to it and got the most perfect connection on the volley, went like an arrow into the top corner and everyone from both teams went wild and piled on me. Magic moment. Some cvnts to this day try and claim it was over the bar, not a chance!

Scored 3 from about the halfway line. One was a left footed volley, the second was when I smashed it with the outside of my foot and it just dipped down and went in and the third was a free kick which I aimed to a bit to the right before curling it into the bottom corner :D

Have came second in my clubs goal of the season last two seasons running.

Last season for a 25 yard beckham esque freekick that smashed off the underside of the bar, down onto the line and back up into the roof of the net.

The season before for a move I started at right back, played into our cm, moved up the field receiving the ball again, played back into him. Continuing my run into the box he played the ball to our right winger and as he got to the byline I shouted "PULL IT" and about 10 yards out in line with the edge of the 6 yard box I control it with my left instep, and with my right foot put my laces through it into the roof of the net. Slick move started and finished by myself.

But the best has to be my first ever goal in competitive football when I was 9 playing for a team at u11 (so all the other lads were older and bigger!)

It was our first game of the season, 3-2 up and I went up for a corner.hung around the edge of the d and as it floated in I knew it was to be headed out into my path, I took a step back and from around 20 yards volleyed it right footed into the top right corner something Scholesy would be proud of. It secured a 4-2 win and the best, most memorable goal I will ever score.

Oh and goals from the halfway line don't interest me. Requires little skill apart from kicking the ball quite far. Come back and talk to me when you smash one in off the bar. By far the best goals you will ever see.... yeboah anyone? Made 10x better by the fact it cannons off the bar

There's a difference between lobbing a keeper and pinging a speculative effort in from halfway.

If you've got the vision to do a Xabi Alonso vs Newcastle/Luton then fair play, but if you're just hitting and hoping and it flies in I don't care much

oh no I don't mean long distance lobs, just the type when you're one on one with the keeper and you try and commit him and then dink it over him, messi style ;)

Oh those goals are sublime. One guy in my side scored one at training tonight, I passed it from cb to our cm who slotted in an amf. He was 1v1 with the keeper who advanced to about 10 yards. Amf dinked it high above him, clipped the inside of the far left post, rolled across the line to the near right post and then rolled a yard over before being scrambled away. This was in an 11 a side training game 1st v 2nd team. Brilliant goal

Pretty sure you mean the one from me as well. :(

Cat Burger put me through and I thought I'd buried it. Good reactions.
