I can ‘better’ that

 

Medal on Friday. Couldn’t hit a thing for the first 4 holes. We teed off with about a 20 min gap in front of the next group. I played so badly they caught us up on 7th tee

 

Triple bogeyed first hole-

Par 3

Double bogeyed Par 4

 

Duffed my 3 wood about 2 foot before the ball on the 3rd, Par 4, walked off with a 9!!

 

5 off the tee on the 4th. Found my first, had to take an unplayable- still walked off with a 10 😂

 

Parred 5&6&8

 

Found my tee shot on 7, then lost my really well hit second shot down the fairway. Couldn’t find it, couldn’t go back as the group behind had caught up- Disqualified 

 

Went to the shop on the way home and drank wine by the pint glass

There aren’t many better things to do

I played this morning, and am regretting not playing this afternoon, opting to watch that shower of shite down the road instead

Since joining up with a bunch of guys in my society we play most weeks now. In fact I played 3 times in the last 7 days. 2 of which I shot 83 and 90. Which is the best I've played in a long time. 

 

I went to Stonebridge in the week (near Birmingham just past The Belfry) and it's a lovely place and really well kept with very nice greens. Only £33 for 18 holes too. They have 3 different 9 hole courses which can all connect to each other. So you have 3 different variations to choose from for playing 18 holes on any given day.

Made me think of this :D You might be old enough to remember Absolutely!
